Hi, I take my 19 month to Favourite Things 044341984 at Marina Mall and it may be a little pricey but so far I haven't had any bad experience, but I have only been 3 times! Nippy

I got my Amazon 3g Kindle from here at DG Sharaf at Time Square. Very good price, not much more that what you would be paying back in the UK. Still a newbie to the kindle and so far I am really enjoying it... Nippy

Hi, We went to Al Hamra Fort in February and would never go back. The service was awful, tried 3 different restaurants, even one in the golf club and each one was bad. For example having to wait over an hour for your drinks order, bring out starters at different times to others, (30 minutes) forgetting side orders, actually forgetting one main course.! As for ordering food and drinks by the pool, that was something else, gave up in the end! I was that disgusted with the place, I have thrown away all money off vouchers for the place! Le Meridien Al Aqah near to Fujeirah was a very nice hotel and fully enjoyed ourselves. Nippy

Hi, Not sure if this is near for you, but I take mine to a place in Dubai Mall. I think it's called Stitch n Sew by Waitrose. Very good and never had any problems, touch wood! Nippy

Hi Sham, I live in 3 and I have never had water leaking in my bathroom, but used to have such awful smell, in the early days which went on for months. Was calling them out every week. I did have water leaking in my kitchen and they said to get the a/c cleaned, which they did as I refused to pay, however, it carried on, so I phoned the landlord and they came out and fixed it. Now I am getting bubble marks at the bottom of the walls in the masterbedroom, which I have reported to the landlord but his maintenance department don't care about it, they said it was condensation from the bathroom. My husband says it's a leak somewhere and it's getting worse! I'm looking to move when our contract runs out this year, 2 years is enough here for me. Nippy edited by nippy35 on 10/04/2011

Hi, I go every Monday and find the place to be okay, sure the door opens out on to the street, but the gate should be locked and to be honest, you should be looking out for your child anyway, it's not down to the responsibility of the workers... I am happy with the place and I did take me 10 year old son once to help out with the younger one and he fully enjoyed himself too... It's down to an individual opionion really. Nippy

Hi, It was all very quick to be honest, you can do some of the payment scheme on line with them. It was with the FCO at Milton Keynes and then we sent them off to the UAE Embassy in London. I did have some help with relatives to send the document off to London, but again the whole process was really under two weeks, for both of them to attest them. Nippy

Hi, I went last year with 2 children, one was 11 months old and 9 years and we were all fine without any injections etc... Just take your normal insect repellent and you should be fine... Nippy

Hi... I think it's attested. My DH had the same issue with his work, we had to send his back to the UK to get them done. Nippy

Very dangerous... Hubby tells me to keep in the left lane when coming over the flyover way, but then you still have to quickly merge into the next lane... Not really sure which one is the safest, if any at the moment!

Hi, I went to Rhodes Mezzanine at the Grosvenor last month and it's the best meal we have ever had. Food was amazing and to top it off, the Man himself was in the kitchens cooking and came out later and had a chat with us... Based on this restaurant of Mr Rhodes, I am sure Rhodes 21 would be great also.... Nippy

Thanks Izzy, not sure I would want to take the risk and call his bluff, there is always that risk he might just say, yes! Thanks Tasha, Can you remember who informed you about just providing a letter. If that is still the case, then hopefully I might not have nothing to worry about. However, even though I have this no objection letter, they will only give me a 1 year visa at a time, which is a pain. Is this the same for you on this letter? Thank you Nippy

We save nearly half of DH salary a month..... some of it goes into a policy, offshore which is surprisingly making good money for us.... the other half of the savings go into an offshore bank account.... We keep the minimum here, enough for us to enjoy ourselves. Nippy

Hi, I am looking to hold a birthday party for my son next month, in the Kartdrome. I am currently looking at the combo package where they can Go Kart and Laser. Does anyone know if it's any good or not...? Thanks, Nippy
