Thank you ketieb. It's good to hear that a helmet worked for your daughter. Do you mind me asking whether she was treated here in the UAE? I have to admit that I am now in the process of arranging flights back to the UK as I haven't found anyone here who is able to help. We're undecided on what to do but feel that we may be better advised back home

Thank you so much plumie. Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I have a nearly two year old as well as a four month old and so find it difficult to sit down to type anything without a little helper! It's great to hear something positive for a change! It's been very difficult to find anyone qualified to advise. I'll give the clinic a call. If anyone else in the meantime has advice on treatment e.g. repositioning/helmets etc, I would be very grateful.

Thank you mpenny for your reply. I hope that things have improved for your daughter. I'm still concerned about my daughter although I can see that things have not got worse and that there may even be a slight improvement. As her mother and seeing her everyday, it's hard to be objective. I contacted Limbtech and they suggested a Dr Ayman Jundi of Royal Medical Centre/Clinic. I wonder if anyone has any knowledge of him or the clinic, please? It doesn't seem to be on our insurers list but I would be quite happy to pay if I heard positive things about him. The alternative would be to go back to the UK..
