Don't try to switch on, as you might cause more damage. Shake all liquid out, wipe dry and put in a bag/jar with uncooked rice. Leave it for at least 5-7 days. Take it out and try switching it on. If it you're not successful, put it back for another week. If it doesn't work, you might want to repair it. Good luck!

Hello ladies! We have a 2m x 2m bed and I need skirting and a head board for it. I've seen some beautiful ones at Pottery Barn, but I'm not willing to spend that amount of money on it ;) Who knows a reliable address where I can get these made? Thanks in advance! edited by Notnewintown on 06/01/2013

Nippy, I know you are short of time, but what you can pack in half a day today, the packers will have done in half an hour tomorrow. This really isn't a good use of your time. And in my my experience whatever I've packed in advance they have repacked anyway! Why don't you focus on packing whatever suitcases you have with everything you will need in the short term for you and the children, special belongings etc that you don't want to lose and then getting them safely out of the way at a friends house for example. This way you will feel you are doing something at least. I second that. Most importantly: documents, laptops/computers, pictures and other personal stuff. Get those sorted out right now. The packers will do the rest. If you need a babysitter for your 3 year old, give me a shout.

I'm not a fan of Cerelac, as it contains sugar I believe. Holle is very good, you can find it in Geant and other hypermarkets.

I used all the brands.. From Loreal to Chanel, from Lancome to Garnier. Have been on Kanebo for the past years. Nothing comes close. It really is good.

You can try Healthbay Polyclinic. Or take turns with your husband. ;-) I find Healthbay extremely expensive. Penny, I might be able to help you. What is your email address, so I can get in touch with you?

[b'>Update:[/b'> I ordered the Fisher Price Jumperoo on 10 October from Amazon.com, came to about 400dhs with Amazons own shipping, and it arrived today 13 October - super fast! [b'>@The Dangerous Blonde[/b'> thanks for the info, appreciate it! However the Jumperoo was coming to 500dhs just for shipping with Shop and Ship because its so heavy, 7kgs! So I used Amazon.com's own shipping How did you succeed in letting Amazon ship directly to Dubai? I get an error message saying that Amazon can't ship the item to Dubai... I thought we always had to rely on SnS? If you choose items that are shipped by Amazon directly and not by a supplier to Amazon (the "choose from these suppliers" icon does not come up), then they deliver direct to your door here. They're pretty quick too. ETA Amazon are definitely a better bet for baby toys than shop and ship, unless you are wanting very light items. And at least you know upfront the shipping costs - shop and ship send parcels one by one at minimum of AED41 and it doesn't take much weight to multiply that amount by5. edited by Aryanwynn on 13/10/2012 Got it, thanks!
