My daughter had terrible reflux. We tried Gaviscon Infant but did not find that it made a signifcant improvement. My paediatrician prescribed Nexium which worked brilliantly. We saw Dr Rania at Infinity Clinic who is a bit of a reflux expert - make an appointment with her you won't regret it. Hang on in there - it will get better - I remember only too well how tough it can be :-)
Hi,
I am also from the UK and due in March 2013 with baby no. 2. I had baby no. 1 here at City Hospital in January 2011 with Dr Elsa and had an amazing experience. The scans are exactly the same as in the UK - i.e NT scan at 12 weeks and detailed scan at 20 weeks. I had my scans done at the Fetal Medical Centre (right next to City Hospital) lots of gynaecologists refer patients there for the scans and I also found them to be excellent. Hope that helps.
Thanks ladies. I actually don't follow GF to the letter but just try and take a few tips from it and work it into what DD seems to do naturally. I am generally out and about over lunchtime but all the coffee things etc seem to be in the morning.
