I am American and I have delivered both of my children here in Dubai. I have family and friends' experiences to compare mine to and based on that - I'd never go back to the US for a normal delivery. I delivered at the American hospital and City hospital and both are comparable. I found my midwife at City to be stupendous. Floor nurses at both hospitals are ok. My ob/gyn was Dr. Amir Nasseri and he was phenomenal. His level of care was much better than anything I would have received in the US. I never felt rushed during my appointments, which is common in the US and Dubai. Dr. Amir always listened to my wishes regarding the pregnancy and delivery. I delivered both babies naturally. I can't say enough good things about my experiences here in Dubai and my sisters back home are jealous of it.

Try low level hydrocortisone cream once a week to every other week. That cleared it up marvelously for DS and DD.

Alaingirl, I hate to sidetrack from your original question but I'd like to ask -- I've been looking for a male American ob/gyn -- may I ask which doctor you see? amkcbrandon - I just delivered my DD 5 weeks ago with Dr. Amir Nasseri (male American ob/gyn) at N9ne Clinic and he's phenomenal! I can't say enough great things about the entire experience. He truly goes above and beyond. He has stupendous bedside manner and really cares. He's an excellent ob/gyn!!
