I'm just curious but do any of you with hair problems have other symptoms as well? Weak nails, for example? Or thinning hair on any other part of your body such as eyelashes, eye brows or legs? Hi, yes I have...all the above...lost all of my hair. I wear wigs, false eyelashes and draw on my eyebrows... alopecia totalis, an autoimmune disease. Not sure where you live but I'm happy to chat to you if you feel you need to, as a sufferer, I know how hurtful it is

Hi JLS74, did you find a part time nanny/maid? i'm interviewing a couple this weekend for myself so maybe one of them could be good for you?

by the way.... I would not recommend Cecile' de Scallys ante-natal classes. Having been to them myself, I found them outdated and very much lecture-like and did not give me the confidence I was looking for. Some other friends are taking hypno-birthing classes in dubai (not sure where), which you may find useful to channel positive thoughts and to ensure you enjoy a positive birth :-)

my friend went to healthbay and said they were great. I also received this flyer recently but dont know if they are any good or not. Its called "Active birth workshop, making sure your birth experience is a positive one" . And might be the chance to meet other mums as well as get specialist advise? Sat 29 June 10h00 – 13h00 Building 27, First Floor Conference Room -Healthcare City, Dubai UAE Cost: AED600 per couple [email protected]

Hi ladies, I am 32 weeks pregnant and in case you wanted ante natal classes , I have just finished classes with "Cecile" in healthcare city. We were recommended to go to her but... sorry to say i found the classes out of date, not interactive at all and we had expected to come out of the class with more confidence but I found I have even less confidence about the upcoming birth and once we get our baby home post-birth! You sit in a semi circle around a projector during the 2 hour class, and if people dont ask the right questions, you may not find out the information you need during the class. Plus...whilst we wanted to meet other couples, there were 15 couples on the course but they joined at different times, and due to the lack of any interaction driven in class by Cecile, we only got talking to one couple, as everyone left immediately the classes were finished. My friend went to healthbay clinic for her ante natal - she had fun, met lots of other soon-to-be mums & dads, learnt (and practised in class) breathing techniques (which Cecile skimmed over), how to swaddle a baby etc - my friend has come out feeling practical and confident and like she has a support network of some other mums too. Maybe we were unlucky but I dont think Cecile's classes have evolved since year 2000 and they are totally "lecture to student" style.
