Love my Dyson DC23 - great on-board tools and the flex/pipes fold down and wrap around the barrel for really easy storage ... wouldn't get anything else :)

The overstay charges don't seem so bad when you bear in mind that a tourist visa for Oman now costs 200AED. Add in the cost of petrol and maybe stopping for food en-route and it adds up. Might just be easier to pay the overstay charges. Thanks, ladies, will have to decide if we chance it or go for one more visa run before we leave ...

If it is publicly traded, you can check the DFM website. If not try the department of the economy. That's great, thanks, will give these a try ...

no, there is no grace period. you will have to pay fines starting the next day. i think it's 100 DHS per day, that was last time i checked, but i am not sure of the amount. Ah, okay, thanks :)

I know this has been asked before but I've searched and searched and can't find threads I remember reading previously, so apologies for asking again! I'm currently here on a visit visa, which runs out in about 10 days. Normally I'd head up to Oman for a visa run, but this month (in about 14 days) I'm due to go home for a holiday. So, my question is: can anyone tell me definitively if there is a grace period for overstaying? If so, what is it? Or, will I automatically get fined when I try to leave UAE? If so, again, what's the daily fine? TIA:)
