Hi, I applied DC for year 5 and year 6 on Sept, my kids did on site test not online. They did math and writing. We have the result within few days after. However, we did the test after the school year has started so I am not quite sure how it works before the school year starts. But you can actually ask the admission about all of this, they will give you straight forward answer. I will apply for my reception age kid and have asked what they expect from the test, they gave me a straight forward answer of what is expected.
I really appreciate all your reply. We only have been here in a short time, and I cannot say yet if my child is happy with the school or not. That is the reason I asked if anyone has done the move between two schools. I am not trying to know anything else except if there is a chance that maybe one is more suitable for my kid than the other.
And I don't think I am delaying other children chances of getting in a place, well if I do, then so does every other mom who register their kids to more than one school.
Hi, as far as my experience, they are pretty strict with schengen visa, usually you are given only the length of your booking accommodation is. So if you book for only 3 days then you are given only three days. You said you were given a month, you should check if it is the duration of stay or not and whether it is multiple entry or not. Sometimes they give 7 days stay which valid in a month, which means that you can only stay max 7 days in a month period, not a full month stay. The 90 days visa usually only for family visit, as far as I know.
And as soon as your visa expires, there is no extension, you can only re-apply.
For the changing of point of entry, I knew people who have done it and I've done it myself, so far I have not heard any problem about it.
Hope that helps and not too late.
