When my little one was born, they printed the DOB wrong in the passport. We were due to travel a few days later, so they issued an emergency passport. This only took about a day or two to get. Once we returned to Dubai, we then had to hand that passport in, to then get the perminent one. Very annoying, but it worked. Not sure if they will be able to issue you an emergency one or not, but they can do it! Its possible!

Have you looked at the Outlet Mall? We bought our 5 yr old a bike there, and its nice, and not as expensive as other malls.

Called municipality clearance, they won't take it because we live in a free zone.....how dumb. So, I asked the lady if she had a different number to call for someone who could. NOPE. I will try another option. I don't think anyone on Dubizzle would want it. The patio furniture crumbles when you touch it!

We don't pay our DEWA, so that isn't the issue. Just so sick of trying to keeps bugs/spiders away, and real grass looking good. I want the kids to be able to enjoy playing outside, so was thinking this would be a good option.

EVERYTHING! I brought most things from the US, except for the large things. If summer clothes are still in sale, they can wear those clothes year round here. Also, Gerber puffs are great and havent found them here. Mostly clothes though, I dont buy any here in Dubai. You could shop online, have it shipped to you visitors, then have them bring it. Target, Kohls, old navy, childrens place....some of my favs!

I personally think maids make people lazy here in Dubai. Seems nobody wants to take care of there own kids or clean up their own messes. I'm referring to more so nonworking moms. As for working moms, what other options do you have? If there isn't any after school activities for her to be involved in, a maid might be the only way?

Well, we ended up going to the hospital last night. Doctor said there isn't any way to tell what is bitting him, and that he is clearing having an allergic reaction to what ever is bitting him. But, not much we can do!

Yes, you have to be very careful with them. They like to change your service behind you back, without consent, to end up charging you more. I honestly don't know how a business can get away with the things they do, its horrible.
