Greece is gorgeous in Spring although the it may still be chilly. Remember to pack jackets. I would definitely recommend Santorini- it is stunning with some of the best sunsets in the world-extremely romantic. Crete is massive and you could spend a whole holiday there, so I am not sure of its worth it. I would spend some time in Athens-visit cape Sounion, the new museum, the Acropolis, stroll through the Thisseion area. Then perhaps you can do Santorini, which is in the Cycaldes (group of islands), then perhaps Corfu and Cephallonia (Kefallonia-where Captain Corelli's mandolin was filmed). Other beautiful islands are Skiathos and Skopleos. On the mainland it is worth travelling to Meteora, Nafplion. It is endless. Greece is a wonderful place with varied scenery and tons of interesting places to visit. If you are travelling close to the 24th April, you will be experiencing a Greek easter. It is fabulous!
