You should be able to get it fixed or replaced under warranty, I had the same problem and took it to abm care in Tecom, had a new one within 3 days! The next day I put it through the washing machine and killed it ? edited by Puddle31 on 22/03/2015

It's correct, we recently asked the bank about getting finance for a car and we were told we would need the same ( and copy of Emirates ID) if we wanted to buy a used car.

Thank you knowledge village definitely looks like the best option location wise! I've read somewhere that you need to have a health care number or receipt, do you know if this is the case?? This is definitely not the easiest process!

Correct away, I would say that if she is eligible the household income bit still stands. Student Finance England are generally quite helpful, it might be best to give them a ring?

Hi Tringlady She should be fine if she is British, the grant will however be dependent on your household income. The tuition fee loan and up to 65% of the maintenance loan can be applied for without looking at household income but if you want the rest of the loan and the grant to be considered they will look at parents and student income. The grant is kept for those with a lower household income. Hope this helps?

Thanks Nikki that is brilliant, I think I'm going to get a company to do it as I only have just over 2 weeks left before my 30 days is up! If you could share the procedure for the visa application that would be amazing! Thank you :-)

Pink lily I mean knitters that would accept crocheters, the crafts are often confused and very different and there tends to be running 'banter' about which is better between the 2. I've been known to dabble with knitting needles but I'm just not very good at it!

Oh well looks like hubby will be dragged to craft land, crochet keeps me sane :-) if anyone knows of any crochet groups or even knitters who will accept someone from the dark side I would be really interested

Hi All I am new to Dubai and to expat living so hello to everyone and apologies if this is a straightforward question but I am trying to organise my visa (being sponsored by my hubby at least until I find a job!) and I am becoming increasingly confused about what I need to do with my marriage certificate. I have the original certificate and have read in some places that I need to send it back to the UK for legalisation and in other places that I can take it straight to the ministry of foreign affairs in Dubai. I've emailed both and the embassy asking for clarification but I'm not holding my breath as their auto email responses say if you can find the answer to your question on their website they won't respond! Any help or advice would be really appreciated :-)
