Pretty much all the rescue groups are overrun with pups and dogs at the moment. Mixed breed desert dogs usually only get to about knee high, so are not too big. ok cool thanks!

on facebook try and look up this agency called SNIFF (Strays in Need of Forever Homes)... they are always looking out for people to foster/adopt their pets... we adopted our pet that way... we initially fostered him for a while to ensure that everyone in the family was well on board with the concept of having an additional responsibility and then once we were convinced, we went ahead and adopted him... all the best... the agencies or a vet will be able to estimate roughly what size the pup will grow up to be... that was so helpful thanks !

hi Ladies , do you know anyone who has a puppy for adoption. a puppy that doesn't grow soo big later. my little girl is crazy about puppies, she takes care of our neighbor's puppy once a week. thanks x. All puppies grow up and become dogs. Your little girl may be 'crazy about puppies'. What happens when that puppy grows up? Will she still be 'crazy' about it? Taking care of a neighbour's puppy once a week is nothing when compared to taking care of another living being (albeit canine) on a full time basis. I'm sorry but nobody 'needs' a puppy 100% but we feel that we r ready for one. I understand they grow up i just said that i don't want a puppy that grow so large in size. Thanks for ur help :)

i would recommend Baby Land nursery which is now called Key nursery, they are very flexible with the settling down and they allow parents to be with children for the first week and then you can gradually leave him for 2 hours, then 3 hours and then for a full day until he settles . there is a Tim Hortons coffee shop beside it in 3J mall where u can have a coffee and internet connection and get back to check on him. its a walking distance. i have been teaching there for 3 years and both my children spent their nursery years there. plus the prices are not crazy. if u need any help with that let me know :)
