Hi Brummi,
My baby girl also was born with an hemangioma in her forehead and all doctors here in Dubai (about 7 different ones with different specialty) told me that by itself will disappear; not pain or discomfort was present, either way I didn't like it and the more I read about betablockers the more I realized that was a good option (in internet you find lots of studies and their perfect results) the sooner you give it, the better result you have. I almost went to the US with a dr that has a lot of expirience with propanolol and hemangiomas when finally I found Dr. Nathan which has his own clinic http://www.modernfamilyclinic.com; with one month and a half i started the treatment, my baby is 4 months now and I am very happy with the result, the hemangioma not only stop growing but it got flat and pinkish. Any questions feel free to contact me [email protected] I understand perfectly the feeling of wanting to do something even though no pain is present without harming in any way your baby.
