My sister had the same problem growing up. It was difficult for her Nd when we asked the doctor he told us that she couldn't help it and it's a medical condition that sometimes doesn't go away until she reaches puberty. ( which is what happened) it's frustrating for both parent and child, I remember my mom waking her up every couple of hours at night. And if she slept over a friends house, she discreetly took those nighttime pullups with her. About the bedwetting alarm I saw it a couple of weeks ago at the pharmacy at American hospital Dubai ( or the medical store next to the pharmacy in the hospital) Good luck :)

I didnt say obligated as a bad thing.I meant that she is part of the family since she lives with us so just like i would take my kids to the doctors if they are sick,i will take her to get all the care she needs. im just saying if for some reason god forbid it something serious, it could take months or even longer to cure....

Good morning :) i have a question to ask... I recently got a new maid mid april and she looked healthy. I did the visa check up and everything was fine. Then end of june i travelled to the states for a month and she was here alone(just my husband was here half the time) I offered to send her home but she said she just arrived from indonesia so she doesnt want to visit....Anyways less than a week after i came back(beginning of august) she was standing in the kitchen helping me set the table when she got dizzy and was about to faint. Then it seemed as her eyes got blurry so i guided her to the couch to lay down. i thought it was odd that happened because she had just woken up from a 2 hour nap(from 4-6 pm,and since its ramadan she works much less hours and wakes up around 9:30- 10 a.m). Anyways i called my husband to check her since hes a doctor, and he discovered a huge lump on her neck.He asked her since when did she have it,and she said after we left it appeared and kept on growing and that she was very sick with chills and high fever.I told her why she didnt tell my husband she said that he was travelling at the time and when he got back she was to shy to tell him.And since she covers i couldnt see the lump if he didnt check her.Anyways we ended up taking her to emirates hospital since my husband works ther. The doctor checked her and said its odd to be that big in such a short time and perscribed her medicine and asked to see her in three weeks. So i had to bring her back to the hospital the next day to get the second dose of the medicine through iv and then she would take the rest oraly.Well the medice alone was 600 dirhams and two visits to e.r and to the e.n.t doctor adds up to over 1500 dirhams(all after my husbands staff discount) Of course since she is in our home we are obligated, but now the lump is still huge and my husband said that she needs a Second dose of the medicine for another 7 days and if its not gone she needs a biopsy and further tests. Sorry for the long story but i dont know what to do! Does anyone know of good insurance to cover all these tests or somewhere cheaper to go? Im so confused and dont know what to do.She is very sweet and young (23) and i hope she gets better soon. And god forbid that she has something bad that i dont want to think of ,what do i do? Thank you for listening to my story and if you have any advice im listening....

If you are looking for something less invasive you can try having a balloon inserted through endoscapy. My brother in law had it inserted at Emirates hospital with Dr.Wael Dahhan. He is American board certified. My brother in law had it done 4 weeks ago and lost 10 kilos so far!But you also need to be on a low fat diet and some exercise, but after you have it inserted you feel full quick. And looking at food makes him nauseous now.
