sometime happens : they have what is required, but they are not using ... :( I'm just coming out from infection I got during manicure at Sa++a , they are under renovation since couple of months, lot of confusion everywhere and I think also lack of hygiene :(

That's a bit like asking who is the best hairdresser / butcher / gardener is?! There are good and bad maids from every culture and whether they are the "best" for you depends on your circumstances, children / pets / size of home, possibly your religion, would you prefer a Christian / Muslim / Hindu, the same as you or does it not matter? You really need to interview a few different nationalities and see which person you like the best. Someone else's idea of "best" might not be yours in the end. [i'>Cheeky Monkey...correct, extremely correct what you said![/i'>:)

I think there was similar thr in the past, but I was not able to find it. If you wish I know since years a good cook; he has car and comes home in the afternoon after 4 pm or around....the cost is based on location and number of hours...but not expensive at all! he is very good, everything tasty, kitchen cleaned, food for a week ready in the fridge or freezer. I can not name him, as he is working in hotel, but give me yr email or phone and I inform him

I've been in the past years with Emrill and then H&G!!!very unsatisfied! :( then a signed a contract with Tool Time and I feel very happy.:) For emergency they are coming in 1 hr and honestly I'm calling always even when I need something not part of the contract, because my husband often traveling...and I'm alone at home with kids. They are not perfect....but much better than others!!! if you wish try to call [b'>800-88 [/b'>

I've agreement for external windows with Tool Time; I've decided to clean them once a month, but you can call only for 1 service, or every 3 months, every 6 months....as you like. very efficient and not expensive at all. and they are so nice and helpful!!:) you can call - if you wish - [b'>800 88[/b'>

when it's possible...I prefer to save time...even if I can not save money! especially if the difference is quite small. somebody going to buy it for me, delivering home, fixing it, testing it...I prefer that....maybe because I'm working and I've not enough time.:(

but....water heater costs ....based on the size... there is 50,80 100 and more lt. I've changed 2 or 3 at home and I've paid 400 aed for the maid rooms, 650 for the one in the kitchen and 900 in masterbedroom...

every 3 months Tool Time is coming to service and clean all a/c's , all plumbings , all electricals; once a year they clean the water tank and once a year the a/c duct cleaning. Honestly I've to say that I never had major problems....

but....for phone/internet you should call DU or Etisalat, your service provider. because they have to test the cables ...I think so. for television you can call 055 8639835 ; he is very good ; I got his number from Tool Time in the past and I'm using him since then .

SkyKitty... I wrote in different thread that last year during Ramadan we prepared gift bags for workers then we went to DIP to deliver them... 2 ladies with us...they were in shorts and skimpy top... They are not turists....they are residents... They came to deliver bags in the labour camp, at Iftar time, in shorts as well...between hundreds and hundreds of drooling workers ! they should know the meaning of Ramadan and they should also know we are in islamic country ( even if it's hard to believe...when we go all around Dubai...) The problem ? they don't care of muslims, they don't care of decency,...!!! I saw couple of days back a nice lady , very high heels ( very hard for her to walk .... walking like a duck) black simple short dress in front....and a HUGE LONG SLIT IN THE BACK !!! I saw without doubts her underwear while I was going up with the escalator Yes, I agree, it's time to do something ...and if good advices have been not enough so far...better to proceed by law.

try to call Tool Time if they can, they will assist you [b'>[/b'>800 88 the free number to call. even if may be not all people happy with them...I can say they have been very good and helpful with me...my husband so often absent for business trip...I know I can call them and they have always some good solutions for all my home maintennace problems

from my experience chefs eat disgusting fast food constantly, smoke and are incredibly unhealthy due to the horrible hours they work. have you read any anthony bourdain? he refers to chefs as pirates and it's been true for me too. Lol! We live opposite a five star hotel and I always see the chefs having smoke breaks at the side of the hotel every chance they get. Serious chainsmokers. I hope they wash their dirty hands! [b'>[/b'>me...I hope they wash their hands after going to toilet or..pick their ' nose :\:

Trying to introduce fish to my DD who has only eaten tuna so far. Since i don't have a lot of time, I'm looking for simple recipes for grilled or baked fish. Any ideas where I can find some or if anyone has recipes to share, I would be most grateful! Thanks. :\: I thought we were talking about a child...so better to avoid fried fish and sauces as well.. We had to change our gas bottle as they introduced a new value on the BBQ bottle. Gas company refused to refund my depost on the old bottle. What a rip off! [b'>this should be brought to Dubai Municipality's attention....as they are the one authorizing gas companies...[/b'>

we had the same problem in AR...it was necessary run the a/c all the night...and day temperature always 24-25 Emrill as well as H&G they changed SO many parts, they added something but without solving the problems....wasting of money for maintenance and...DEWA... with always the same problem!!! Tooltime enginer finally told us that units were not working properly for many reasons: the position of compressors on the roof, the sensors too far from thermostats, some other things I don't remember( I'm not a technician...) finally they have been able to fix something and to improve also the temperature ( 21/22) which was really pleasant ...
