Thank you for your response Fairy Dust. I've done research but am still undecided as to wether or not to proceed with the vaccine. I've seen two GPs so far but both had very little knowledge about it and could not give me any advice. If anyone could therefore recommend, preferably a UK doctor, it would be much appreciated.

Try The Children's Garden in Al Barsha. My friends children are there and their curriculum is designed to teach children through creativity. They are also a bilingual school. Believe they take children from 2 years to 6 years.

Jool I am not assuming everyone's experience atDBS will be the same as mine at all! The OP asked for opinions on school and my previous posting was, and still remains, my thoughts on DBS. Whilst i do agree that it was maybe unfair of me to compare DBS to DC I also compared DBS to the school my daughter originally came from in England. As you stated that DC was not the correct school for your child, likewise DBS was definitley not the school for my children. My concerns at DBS were such that I removed all three of my children (elder two now at Uni in UK). Anyhow, like you, I wanted to share my experience and thoughts on DBS.

Avoid DBS! My daughter attended a great school in the UK and I opted for DBS when I moved to Dubai as I wanted a british curriculum. The school, in my opinion, is well below standard and my daughter definitley degressed whilst there. Complained many, many times and things would go well for a couple of weeks afterwards but then standards would soon start slipping again. Have since moved her to Dubai College and it was the best moved I ever made.

Avoid DBS! I have already removed one daughter because of poor teaching standards - she is now at a different school in Dubai and thriving. My other daughter is currently in primary school and I have no intention of sending her to secondary at DBS.

Lulu's in Al Barsha have them in. They are in the menswear section, but I bought one for my 10 year old daughter and it fit fine. It was about 9 dirhams at the most.

Me too! I also would be very interested. Used to be a personal assistant in the UK to a Company Director of a Stockbroking firm and then worked for 20 years in a bank, marketing and selling their products and services as a Mortgage Advisor. My youngest daughter has now started secondary school and therefore is becoming a lot more independent giving me time to work now. I've been looking for part-time work for the past two years and the salary and holidays you're offering sound ideal. Please let me know if your husband does decide to take your suggested route as I would certainly be interested.
