My daughter will be in Giraffe, just found out...We're coming from Delsol Villas, I wondered if there were any carpools available? STSS said they'll drop her at 3.20, school gets off at 2.30..

She'll be in FS2...i loved how helpful everyone was at RDS, they were telling everyone that they'd call them with the results of the assesments but they told us to wait for a bit, and offered a place there and then.

Yup, we got in. DD will start in jan 2013. Royal Dubai School it is. Lets hope moving houses goes as smoothly. <em>edited by rumis on 18/11/2012</em>

Seven seconds...which school did u get into then? We went to have a look at star mirdiff today and it seemed totally deserted..i didnt get a good feeling..any views on royal dubai school?

OR you could hire a maid to do it for you weekly...I taught my maid the way I iron hubbys shirts and she does a brilliant job now. I havent had to iron in a long long time!

How much is it for Mary Berry? I live in Arabian Ranches and looking for a stairgate...there is a wooden stair case at one end and a wall at the other...I was hoping to find one that is a pressure fix and not a wall fix...dont want to go around drilling into the woodwork! please send me the details at mrushda at gmail dot com thanks!

So are you guys all happy with the school? It's been a month since school started. My daughter is in Regents in FS1 and I love how her grammar and sentence formation has improved in just a month! But we're moving to Silicon Oasis in December and we're thinking about having her transferred to Gems Wellington DSO from next term. I wanted to know how you feel your kids are progressing. Thanks Green-ish! I'll make an appointment to visit the Head of ANC as soon as possible and also request a tour. we are still a bit confused though, tell me, if I make it past 36 weeks, would you recommend I still go to Al Wasl? or should I go to Medcare with my previous Doctor? I was very happy with her! I know a lot of mums say Alwasl is better because of the NICU, but if I'm full term..won't any hospital do? How is the NICU at medcare any ideas?? I've already added myself to multiplied uae for support :)

OK now i'm nervous. I was seeing a doctor at medicentre but she told me to register at AlWasl and preferably have the delivery there too (twins) as I had started bleeding around week 12. I am 24 weeks now and seeing Dr. Maria (Absolutely love her). Have you guys had your delivery already? i'mm due in August. I wanted to know what to expect when I go there..what to pack with me, what questions to keep in mind...will my husband be able to stay with me all night if I were in a private room?? I won't be able to handle twins on my own!!

Well?? Is it wise to register my daughter there? We live at Arabian Ranches. How far is it from the school? Is it wise to leave a 3 year old in a bus for that long? i'm just nervous! the wait list is so long everywhere else that im tempter to go and register her at this school!
