Ladies, thank you so much for sharing your opinion! I will definitely will meet the teacher tomorrow and judging how the meeting goes I will see if I would need to take it further to the principal. It does make an impact on him - he is sitting crying today, telling that he does not want to go to school any more as the teacher said that he is like a girl :( Could never imaging a grown-up can be so mean to a kid of 5 years old, and that is a teacher. Will update you on the talk tomorrow.

Son was telling several times, i did not believe. Today a mom of the other boy in his group told me that her son told exactly same to her when came home. I am very angry, teacher deliberately making class laugh at my son.

Thanks All for the replies.!By chance was visiting a friend in Qusais this thursday and ran into a small shop on Damascus road, just behind the Cattle Market - yahooooooooo! got a baby car seat at half the price of the Yellow Hat (exactly same one!) and once hubby went there as well he got exremely impressed by the car care producs prices there. Accessories are also reasonably priced with them. The shop name is Best In Auto, phone number I don't remember but the shop has a green-yellow name board, quite noticeable. Just wanted to share.

I was using GTALK calls to talk to my parents who live in Europe. Yesterday suddenly calls stopped working - i can press button "call", can hear ringing, but when the person on the other end picks up neither me nor the receiving side can hear anything and even the microphone and earphone sensors in the talk window are not active. My microphone and earphone working fine as the same call function only locally working fine. Tried from different computers - same result - can call locally but not internationally. Anyone with the same issue? Those who use gtalk calls pls test and reply. Thank you so much!

Bracey777 - we bought it in 2010, no morgage, yes paid by check to LD, have not gone yet to LD to sign for TD as in the email from developer it is written that we need to obtain first the NOC from them. corrylover, please tel me if you needed to have the NOC from your developer for LD. All the service fees have been paid till date.

That time we paid 2% to land department (i have just checked the receipt), for registration with Land Department, the 2% transfer fee was paid by the original seller to the Developer beside our payment to LD. And that is why i am totally confused now as of why we need to pay 2% again :(

In 2010 we bought an apartment from the original buyer, that time the apartment was not having the title deed yet. That time we paid 2% of the apartment price at the Land Department and got the OKUD registration done. Now the developer is telling that we can get the Title Deed for this property but we have to pay again 2% at the Land department. Is that correct? I was under impression that as long as the apartment has been registered with land department we dont need to pay 2% again, and i think over all i hear before that while getting a title deep 1% is paid by the Buyer and 1% by the Developer, any law on that? Please share any info you have. Thank you!

Hi all! last friday we bougth a 7 weeks old baby bunny from Satwa petshop and .... it died in 1 day. It was supposed to be a companion for my current 6 months old one. The bigger bunny accepted the new one with so much happiness and even licked it all clean as a real bunny-mom would do (our 6 months old rabbit is a she-rabbit). The little one was so cute...... i am so sad. I suspect it was not healthy. Is there any good place to buy a rabbit from. Any idea, please help as my rabbit needs a companion. Thanks

My child just started KG-1. Overal he likes to go there and likes to be among other kids. The things that i find strange are the following - a parent is not allowed to drop a child to the class, has to hand it over to nanny at the entrance to the school, same when picking the kid up - you have to wait for the kid to be brought by nanny to the parents waiting area which is just next to entrance door. I am kind of very sad of not being able to see and communicate directly to the teacher to know how is my child behaving, what to pay attention too, etc. So practically i just drop the kid at school as at baggage area and then pick it up with no interaction with teacher and no feebback. Is this system normal? How is it in other KGs? Please share your oppinion. Thank you!
