Get someone else to call from a different number, or landline. If/when they answer, the person has to pretend they're a genuine customer whose friend Ms. Mohammed is a usual customer of theirs and recommended them but who needs their location as they have to do drop off and pick up as they need their things urgently and can't wait the 2 days that collection laundry takes. When/if they give the location - go, get your duvet (I think your duvet has been destroyed, though). Was thinking the same,

I lived in GC and I found it difficult to meet people, I did meet one lady in the hotel bar and we still meet up. So maybe you could go for a drink, Thursdays seem to be a busy night up there, well it used to be. Good luck.

I was at Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa the weekend and It was lovely, it was very busy thou, maybe upgrade to an ocean view, away from the crowds for some R&R. Food at Waves was great, the hotel was spotless and the staff just couldnt do enough for us.

I'll say no more!!! Can you believe it? They sent my income tax form back to me! In response to question 4 "how many dependants are you supporting? " I replied - 2.1 million illegal immigrants, 1.1 million crackheads, 2.4 million unemployed, 90000 people in over 85 prisons and 650 idiots in parliament. Apparently this was NOT an acceptable answer. So who the **** did I miss out on the list" brilliant, lol

The other day Hubby gets a letter from Inland Revenue saying he own 500 pounds. been here 4 years, severed his tax by completing the forms, he was even given a tax rebate in 2009. puzzled by it he rings them, to be told they cannot talk to him, and to wait for a letter. Country going to the wall.

back home in the UK, we had our bedroom window open, whatever the weather, used to get out of bed at times, when it was so cold ice used to build up on the window. Then open the door with a massive warm blast coming from the stairs. my DH never had any central heating whilst growing up, so I think this is why he loves cold houses.

To be honest don't be too concerned if you can't go. We recently stayed there as a family of 4 and service was dire, accom in an ocean front suite was shabby. Hotel run down and very " Benidorm" not your usual Rotana standard! Probably why they're doing an offer, wouldn't go back. Im booked for 16th and 17th June, do hope its not dire, will be so upset as its my anniversary too.

My DD has entered Dubai with her kids, they have a different surname, never been stopped. They have UK passports. Edited to say DD isn't married, not sure if this makes a difference to being unmarried. <em>edited by salsB on 07/06/2012</em>

If you really want a 3rd baby, it shouldn't matter what s&x it is as long as it is healthy and has all it's fingers and toes. I never had a boy, have two girls, love them dearly,but they are a pain in the backside, lol. Wouldn't change them for the world, so can really appreciate you wanting a girl thou. Good luck.

We rented a villa with pool and paid extra for the houseboy, Villa was 1200 pounds for 2 weeks, in Hikkaduwa. This was in November. salsB.. do u know what is was the villa was called?.. thanks It was called Hikka villa, will try and find their email addy for you.

I would say far to soon, LL's want you to sign and have the first cheque ready for cashing as soon as possible. I moved end of January, LL wanted first 3 month rent the day after signing, we never even had chance to sort Du out, even thou we had Dewa but it was not in our name initially. Money grabbing *******.

My hubby doesn't tend to drive extremely fast, in the past there has been some scary times for him. Only yesterday on the way to work, he wasn't far behind the accident that happened. Driving here is like running the gauntlet.

I tend not to mention Dubai when I am home, unless someone asks me, and its normally men who are interested. If anyone does try to bash I do defend Dubai. The press do paint an awful picture and it is sad that people take so much noticed to what is being said. Personally I would like to make my own mind up about a country and see it with my eyes, not listen to trashy tabloids.
