That is strange. We deal with an agent too for our renewals for the last 4 years, as my landlord lives abroad. We only paid agency commision / broker fees the first time we rented the apartment. For the Renewals it's been just AED 200 for Ejari, but they take +50 AED for their paper work / admin charges. And I also know that my landlord pays my real estate agent "management fees" for looking after his property / tenant. As far as I know that is the norm in Dubai. So, I suggest you speak to your landlord accordingly. It is a tenants market these days.

Check if any of your visitors have a birthday coming up. I really like their happy birthday offer, when you can get a free entry in your birthday week. Me and my husband has birthday on the same week, so that works perfectly for us. You can register your birthday at http://www.aquaventurebirthday.com/ Other than that, did you check out any of the deal sites like cobone, groupon etc.. I usually check on shoppinginformer.com, which has all the coupons from all the deal sites in one place. You can look in the themeparks subsection at http://www.shoppinginformer.com/onlinedeals/activities/ If somebody has it you should find it there, or you can find something similar to it, like wild wadi, yas etc..

Hi, I've been a long sufferer of Nose blockage/sinusitis/allergic related issues, and I've met many ENT doctors. They all adviced surgery, without a second thought. It felt like they were all offering canned commercial solutions rather than consulting / treating a patient, and I wasn't comfortable with that. I finally gave up after meeting an ENT specialist in Welcare. It was funny and disappointing at the same time. He was trying to fix my nose block by inserting screw drivers in my ear! While I was outside in the waiting area, the nurse came out and called out my name, only that she totally mispronounced it that I didn't know it was my name so didn't pay attention ( I was reading a magazine). She came out and called out three or four times again and finally I felt maybe it is for me. So I went over to her to check and she was like "We've been waiting for you for so looong", and I apologized and went in. Once in the doctors room, he didn't even greet me. He pointed to a corner working side of his room and said "please take a seat there", and I did. Remember he hasn't yet asked me what I'm there for. Next thing I see he put up sort of a helmet torch on his head, picked up some tools, and he came over and started inserting that in my ears, and I'm wondering what is going on. I said "excuse me doctor, why you putting that in my ear". And he says "Don't you have a hearing problem ?? " LOL "The nurse was out calling your name and you couldn't hear her". Hehehe. I didn't know if I should laugh or scream. And that was not end of it. I said "No, it's my nose I have a problem with" and before I even explained what I'm facing, he had a full prescription and document and everything filled up. All done in 2-3 minutes. Time really is money for these Docs. Anyways, so I stopped going to anymore ENTs, and as for my nose blocks I have found a home remedy which works pretty well. I rinse my nose with warm water in the moring and everytime I goto the washroom. and when I get allergic sneezing I drink water and it immediately stops.

Hi, I'm sure plenty of experienced moms here. So 2 questions. 1) Potty training. What age is recommended to start doing that. My kid is 20 months, is it too early ? 2) Stretch Marks. I still have my post pregnancy strech marks, any recommendations on working that out? Thanks.
