Construction roles are very far and between at present and hundreds are looking for work. This area has been down since 2016 and the only thing I could suggest is that he approaches companies directly. Please be aware he will not be able to sponsor you as you aren't married although people do co-habite here with no problems it's always best to keep your head down if you are living together whilst unmarried Good Luck Thanks so much ! Really appreciate the help. I've heard the market is difficult at the moment so will see how it goes.

He's my husband sorry ! I quite often still say boyfriend though out of habit. Yes unfortunately he had 2 jobs fall through in the middle east,hence the decision to take the job in America. Thanks for the input !

Hi ladies. My partners job in dubai recently fell through. We are still very keen to move over and live and work in Dubai. He has been trying really hard and following up leads, applying for jobs and calling places. Unfortunately, he has not had any luck and is beginning to feel really disheartened. I just thought I'd try help by posting here to see if anyone has any contacts for construction jobs in dubai? He works in constriction management here in Australia on commercial projects up to 40 million only. If you have any suggestions for recruitment companies or for companies that he could call or email, from your experiences that would be so valuable and much appreciated. Any small suggestions would be great and hopefully I can try cheer him up with some suggestions on moving forward !! Thanks in advance Sarah Xoxo

Hi sarah We brang all our furniture across we had a 40 foot container which was delivered to our new address on Saturday we went through Grace removals and found them to be pretty good We also have our puppy arriving on Thursday and we cannot wait Thanks doggy ! Will look into grace for sure. How exciting about your puppy arriving :).

You guys will love it!! We moved in March last year from Brisbane. Lots of outdoor fitness activities, but summer is more restrictive - however there's a huge indoor Sports World that they create, plus pools are chilled down. Great for eating out, weekend trips, shopping malls are great, movies ... we love it. Thanks mel !! I'm really excited. Thanks for the tips!! Sounds like we will never be bored ! :)

Thanks heaps Lady J ! That's good to know. I have never heard of getting my qualifications legalized here in Australia. So I will get in touch with the university. Really appreciate the heads up about that and the police clearance to fantastic points that I otherwise would have had no idea about !
