Hi Ladies, I hope someone can help, my hubby who is a pilot applied for the above visa and asked for a multiple entry, reason being we are going on a cruise around Europe but passing through Turkey for 1 day thus requiring the multiple entry visa. Because of his job we are running out of time to get this sorted as just got the passport back at 5pm today and noticed it was single entry and we leave on the 26th. So please if anyone has any contacts at the Spanish Embassy/Consulate here or Abu Dhabi I would be sooooo grateful. A Huge TIA Sarah

I've been smoking for 20 years and just 7 days ago I gave up due to some health issues and the doc saying give it up or else........ I'm coping quite well with the withdrawl but do have moments when I could easily light up but the health part keeps reminding me :-), and already I feel so much better, my skin looks more alive, more energy etc I guess a few kilos gained can always be lost so thats not such a bad thing... Hi, We get our maid to Manila, then book her on Cebu Pacific, they fly everywhere in the phillipines and are very cheap. We have done this twice for her now and have had no problems, they are a low cost carrier so have to buy baggage allowance etc. Hope this helps Sarah <em>edited by sarahlou on 23/05/2013</em>

Hi We used to live in JI and to solve the problem of the maid coming through the house all the time we had the window in the maids room removed and a door fitted....prob solved :-) sarah

I too had a nightmare with taxis yesterday, my 16 yr old needed to be picked up at DESC to be brought home to the Villa literally 10 mins away, spoke to the driver and told him exactly where to go, almost 30 min later with a bill of 60 dhs, yes 60dhs for a journey of not more than 10mins did my son arr home via the emirates rd./bypass rd. I was fuming with the driver as i had specifically told him where to go, he took the money and zoomed off !!!

So went to immigration today to transfer tourist visa to employment visa, very easy then I ask can we go to the Hatta border for re entry, 1 guy said yes another said no !! Lol. So now not sure what to do :-)

Hi All My son is just about to enter into A levels at DESC, now they don't offer a particular subject which is Computing, only ICT. so my boy now wants to up and go to boarding school in UK where he can get this. I don't want him to go, well not yet. Any ideas, schools which offer this in Dubai or other courses that are A level compatible in computing. In the long run hes hoping to go to Uni to do computer science. TIA Sarah

Hi, Yes I had a look but for a cae seat and 2 booster seats it would be nearly 700dhs which I thought was quite pricey. I actually bought 2 booster seats from Hyper Panda last year for 59dhs, lent them out but never to be seen again...lol
