Hi ladies,
I thought I'll revive this topic - I'm looking for recommendations for a french tutor, ideally one who can come to the house (downtown Dubai).
Thanks
Hello. I am French and so happy to see that a lot of people wants to learn our language ! Really ! I heard a lot of complain from people who spent holidays in France, saying that French don't make any effort to talk other languages as English for example. Which is true, by the way ! :) French is a beautiful but complicated language specially in grammar and orthographe.
My colleague who is English native one, wanted that her son (5 years old) learn French. I noticed quick and amazing improvements. Now each time that i meet her son, he uses to have a small conversation with me French. It's so cute! Each time he asks me :"Veux-tu boire un café ou un thé ("Do you want to have a coffe or a tea")? Des biscuits ? (He prononced the "t" and "s" which is funny and sound like this"bisskoiitss" ) ". Even if i don't want to drink, i HAVE to accept !
Suzanne, his mother and my colleague explained me that her son loves his French tutor, even if he doesn't feel well he doesn't want to miss her course. If i had this kind of teacher when i was a child, for sure my english will be better today ! :)
I hope that all of you will find someone who really loves to teach French and does it with passion. Because as I said it's a difficult but a beautiful language !
