Has anyone had any experience opening a case with RERA against a landlord who has evicted the tenant because he is selling the property, but then actually rented it again? I was in the property for 2 years. After the first year he wanted to increase the rent from 90k to 115k, I pointed out that he couldn't and had to abide by the rental calculator, so it only went up to 95k, but that came with a 12 month eviction notice. I've been out of that property for 2 months and there is now a new tenant living there. I have proof of this as they've opened a new DEWA account which has been verified by someone at RERA. It's going to cost me around AED 3,500 to open a case against LL so my question is - is it worth it? I have no idea how much compensation I'd be looking at even if I won. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

*Already posted on pets forum but trying here too as so desperate for help* Can anybody recommend a veterinary neurosurgeon or somewhere I can get my dog an MRI scan in the UAE? My 2 year old french bulldog has lost the use of her back legs and can't walk, she is currently in the vets under observation however I want to get her to a specialist ASAP. Xrays and blood tests show no problems so it must be something spinal/to do with her nerves. I am told there are no MRIs for animals in Dubai but if anybody knows of someone who might be able to help please let me know. Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed any light.

I'm about to sign a rental agreement on a 1 bedroom townhouse in JVC but before I do, was wondering if anyone knows what I should be expecting to pay in bills each month? Is there a housing fee on the DEWA bills in this area and is the air con included or billed separately through PDC, Emicool or similar? Any info would be much appreciated, TIA :)
