Hi ladies. Please can someone help me? I am trying to get hold of some nice blue lights for my Christmas tree. I think they are LED. I have tried all over MOE . I think Carrefore had them as they have them on some of their decorated trees. But when I enquired they told me they had sold out. Hopefully someone knows the kind I am talking about and can advise when I can get some. I can get white or coloured but not the blue ones. Please do any of you ladies know of anywhere? TIA. xxx

Both are tax free, right? But does anyone actually know for certain if one place is slightly cheaper than the other? For things like makeup and skin care? Thanks You can view and compare duty free products and prices on the internet. Hopefully they are updated regularly.

Hi Ladies! I just got engaged and while I am still relishing in my "just engaged bubble" I was reminded that I also need to start planning :-) Anyone can recommend a bridal shop in Dubai? I have a modest budget and prefer not to exceed 5000 AED. As much as I would love to look my best on our BIG day, I don't feel comfortable spending OTT on a dress I'll be wearing just once. Thank you all!!! I have heard that ASOS are about to launch wedding dresses too. I believe they are hoping to launch in April 2016 and prices will start from.... 60 Pounds. !!!! xxx

The stars were given by the amount of "likes" your posts received but I think it is no longer a working function Well if that's the case blondie007 maybe we shouldn't like your posts as you have 4 stars. ha ha. But seriously though if it is no longer a working function then they should take it down altogether. If it is working and rated by 'likes' then what would be the purpose of that to online users ?

Dear Admin, Please could you explain the star rating you have next to people's names.... Thanks! Actually yes that's a good question. I just thought it was the amount of posts you did or the time you had been registered. But it can't be, as when checking, I see your name has been on here longer than mine and you have had a few more posts than me. So that can't be right. I seem to have had just one star for ages yet you don't have any. I'm also very curious to know the reasoning behind this 'star chart'. Maybe you are not teachers pet, like me with my 'one' star. He he. Dear Admin, Please can we be upgraded to 4 stars? Very strange. :win:

I agree. I'm not a spendthrift but babies are expensive!! so that leaves me with little to even replace a pair of shoes sometimes, let alone trying to save something. Plus we travel every couple of months to our home country and have to buy gifts for the family so that's a huge drain in my pocket as well. My whole point was that I wanted to know if women get enough to save and spend some on recreational shopping as well? Well I hardly spend anything. Every now and then I try to make a secret saving box to surprise hubby with but then something comes along and its gone. So no I don't get to save. But I do try.

I think every woman spends differently. Some like to buy something new each week, some don't, some like to go to expensive shops, some don't, some like to regularly get hair and nails done, some don't and some buy more expensive makeup and toiletries than others. etc etc. You have to think what you personally would be wanting to spend and can afford to spend, what is necessary etc and generally sitting down and going through everything. All the time considering that your hubby is the only breadwinner at the moment and before long you may have nursery fees to be thinking about unless his company would be covering those fees in a few years. It is hard when you have been so independent before and having your own money but now your hubby has to think about 3 mouths to feed, bills and also think about trying to save too. Which is not that easy to do living here. Very difficult question to answer I'm afraid but it's something I think only you can decide on. I wish you lots of love and happiness though as money can't buy that, but a little does help. xxx

Hi, I need some gift ideas for a second time mommy to be. As far as I know, she already has everything. Baby clothes are the only thing coming to my mind. Baby hand and foot print kit. Gift voucher for mum to have pampering treatment. Gift voucher for baby shop so mum can pick what she likes. New baby blanket. New baby travel bag and maybe even fill it with emergency baby items. Meal out for mum and dad. Toilettries for baby and mum too. xxx

hi ladies I have had a spasm on my lower back. iv been to the A&E got few scans and pain killers they said I was fine. many months down the line my back is worse than ever!!!! does anyone know any specialists in the UAE that I can go to I can recommend Dr Kris Lewonowski at Saudi German Hospital. He is new and from the USA. My misery began with backache then spasms. I had an MRI and I have spent months and months going to physio after physio, aqua exercise programs, to a highly recommended osteopath. I wouldn't stop trying to get someone good. Not one of these helped me. But lets be honest not everyone is the same and not everyone has the same problem. What works well for one will not necessarily work for another. But this Dr arranged for X-rays then a second MRI. He found that I didn't have just one problem with my back but 3. Treatment ongoing as we speak. But I think having the correct diagnosis is a start and then you can decide from there. By all means take your scans along if you do visit then he will have something to look at initially too. I really wish you so much luck as its such a miserable thing. Believe me I know. xxx

I wish whoever organises these 'meet and greets' with santa would give the parent a small piece of paper to fill in a little information about the child or even just the little ones name. The people that show you in can give your paper to Santa before you enter. After all the 'real' santa knows your little ones name doesn't he? It's such a lovely fantasy and so short lived. Would be so nice if they actually went the extra mile after all its just once a year.

Do we still get the Oman visa at the border or the rules have changed? I have heard it might have... But no one picks at the consulate, while Oman embassy just directed me to the consulate... Anyone who has travelled recently, please help! When I used to go I'd usually go with the Go Tours Dubai. Might be an idea to call them to see whether things have changed in anyway. They might know as they do trips a few times a day. Good luck. Tel:055 410 5611

Hope this helps you https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty I believe it is the person who is receiving the parcel that has to pay the VAT and duty. Thank you Golf Widow. Don't know why I didn't think of looking on that site. Yes you are right about the person at the other end paying the duty etc but as it is a birthday present I didn't want that to happen. Talk about embarrassing ! But the courier company has assured me that I can pay any duty charged at this end. Not sure how that will work exactly I'm still waiting on their response and I pay in advance when the package is collected. So we will see. Thanks so much again for the help though. xxx

Our tenancy contract is due for renewal early February. The agent for the landlord, who is abroad, sent an email asking if we could let her know if we are intending to renew our contract at that time. She also said 'please be informed that if you wish to renew the contract for another year the rent shall be increased as per RERA rental index'. We have only been in the apartment for a year already and when we got it we were lucky enough for them to accept five thousand less. This seems to be the practise I have found to be quite the norm when agreeing on an apartment here. So I am guessing they are going to obviously put up the rent as RERA have given me a calcuation of 10,000 more already but that may change come February. How do RERA find there calculations? Many apartments in our building are practically the same price already and everyone knows that you can negotiate the price a bit. If they can negotiate the price down then why is our landlords agent saying the rent will increase in February depending on RERA calculations. Is this the norm that emails are sent out every year saying this about RERA calculator? I would have thought if a landlord was happy with a good tenant who paid in one cheque and looked after the property surely it would be up to him what he charges or am I totally wrong? Is this another way of them making more money? We have to give 60 days notice if we are going to vacate so unless she tells us what the rent will be in the next month for February we might as well just hand our notice in now. I keep hearing all about rents going down yet have never experienced it to date. Closest I get is bartering down the price a bit for one cheque. Do all landlords do this?

I recently had a rather expensive item go to my regular dry cleaners. I have given it to them a few times before with no issues. Then one day it came back damaged. I had no joy with the manager. Never returning my calls. I always had to call him and even then he wouldn't always answer me. He tried to blame the damage on me!! I am sure many of you ladies have had help from the DED but for those new ladies out there they might find the information useful. I contacted the DED and sent them photos of the item, receipt of the dry-cleaning and purchase receipt etc. They were a delight and so helpful and so quick at getting me a result. I didn't get the full monies back but I got a big chunk of it. So just letting people know that there are some very helpful departments here should you need them. Best advice I can give is either keep your receipts or scan them if you can and also take pictures. Also handy to have for insurance anyway. I cannot praise these people enough. Hope it helps someone. xx

Hello ladies. I read somewhere that Al Barsha park now has a 5 AED entry fee at the gate. Any idea if this is true? Thanks! First I have heard of this. In fact we were there just last night as hubby wanted a run. There was no one taking entrance money. We just walked straight in as did everyone else. It was packed too with families having picnics on the grass, riding bikes and rentals etc. Must say whilst there though that I noticed large visible signs requesting using a certain lane for bikes etc so that the other lane is for joggers and walkers. There was no one at all supervising this so you had children on bikes and scooters etc using any lane which made a mockery of the signage to be honest. There was a point where someone was running and a child just missed them by riding their bike right in front of them unaware of the danger this could cause and parents just sit there totally oblivious. Bet they would soon notice if there little one was knocked off their bike and hurt though.

I am sure many of you have heard yet again of another tragedy involving a little child choking on a single grape in the UK. The little one is now in an induced coma due to the grape lodging in his throat. His parents have been told that he may never be the same again. Please mums, dads, grand parents and maids please all remind each other the importance of slicing these grapes length ways before putting them in little ones lunch boxes. If a grape gets lodged in their tiny throat it can block their airway. It doesn't matter how great your little one is at chewing either. Please pass message to primary schools and nurseries so they remind and warn parents of these dangers when packing their little ones lunch box. If we all do our part we hopefully will prevent such a tragedy occurring again. xxxx Such tragic news. This little boy has just passed away in hospital. RIP little angel. xxxxxx

This is outrageous. Something needs to be done about this. If they have no picture then where is their proof. If this is allowed to carry on then they might as well just give us all tickets whenever they feel like it. I am sorry I certainly don't think that people should just pay if they are not guilty. So if there is someone who has a grudge against you then they could basically report you for a driving offense that you are not guilty of ? So Bad !!!!

Hi I think I have finally sorted it after phoning DU again. Basically you have to go the their home page and make the payment. Still crazy why they don't simply have a payment link attached to their bills they send out. Would make life so much easier.

I just use the DU selfcare option on the website. Put in my account details and pay there. Been there, tried that, but still just comes up with my mobile info for balance of data etc. I have tried logging in even as new member but still doesn't work. Every month I am having the very same issue and end up having to call Du to help resolve the issue. The issue gets resolved so I can pay it but then come the next month I have to call them again. Simply crazy I know. But surely if they had a payment channel that simply directed you to the site so you could directly pay your bill it would save so much hassle. Is this just happening to me? I am having no other issues paying my other bills online.

Thank you for signing this new petition. Seasand, you are going to suffer agonies through your daughter! I find I am angry and frustrated with what they are doing to these young people, because I see first hand how very, very hard they work, and the lack of family life. One perfect example of how they, forgive the language, screw them around is on hours, when they [b'>average[/b'> the working hours over a month - including days off and annual leave! So my daughter-in-law has just had 6 days holiday; since then she has been rota-ed to work 15-hour days every day. She's on day five, and has already done 75 hours + all the unpaid hours that they end up doing because of lack of staff. But that's alright, because divide 75 by 11 - why are you complaining, it's under 7 hours a day! It's one example of the duplicitous way that the Trust boards and the government are working them into the ground. All this PLUS a pay cut! As you say, there really is no wonder that so many are planning to leave. Stop this new contract, and most will probably stay, at least until they finish their training (which might be 8-10years after they graduate). Do have a look at this YouTube short video song; says it all really! http://youtu.be/DJDjmPTk0cY Me and many many thousands of others agree with everything you're saying Crocus, even though posts get removed from here. Everyone should sign it !!!! Love the video too. Pinched it for Facebook. xxxxx

Hi, I am needing all the advice and tips I can get for flying with a child and toddler on my own. I am flying to Durban South Africa in November with my 8 year old special needs child and my 1 year old on my own. Please give me advice and are there any items I will have to get to make life easier. TIA These sites may be of some help for you. Although the policies may be a few years old there are some good tips and suggestions. http://traveling-kids.blogspot.ae/2011/09/flying-with-infant-airline-policies-for.html http://www.friendshipcircle.org/blog/2012/01/09/a-special-needs-pre-flight-checklist/ Maybe wise to contact the airline your going with to see what facilities they have on offer to help you with ahead of time. Many airports offer free assisted internal transportation services to and from boarding gate so you are not carrying everything. I'm sure you have this but also might be a suggestion to take a doctors letter explaining that your child has special needs because we all know that not all special needs are visible just incase the little angel gets distressed at any point going through security or something. Also lets not forget about mum.... you can view duty free price list online and pre order to have taken to the airline too these days. Good luck and have a safe and happy journey. xxxx

I always use Skynet to ship documents from here to the UK - tax forms etc.. It costs 65dh for documents up to 500g and are very good. I don't know if you can arrange them to collect in the UK or ship from the UK but perhaps call them and see. I'd imagine there are a wider range of lower cost shippers in the UK, but I'm not aware of any, or maybe some service in the Royal Mail. FFx I also use Skynet. From Dubai to UK and return. I always have to email for my collection from the UK but I have always found it very good value for money and efficient. So far not found any cheaper.

Any recommendation for good delivery restaurants in Dubai? New to Dubai and looking for advice on good Pizza and Chinese restaurants for home delivery? Thanks Obviously we all have different tastes but hopefully you will get some good advice on here. 'Freedom Pizza', previously called 'N_K_D' Pizza is good. Not too sure about Chinese but if you like Thai food then 'Little Bangkok' is very nice. Hope that helps. xxx

I think this whole situation is getting beyond desperate. The sad thing is that there are those poor people who genuinely need help and really should get it. After all if we were in a similar situation with our families we would welcome help with open arms, well I would anyway. But now there are those that are just taking advantage of the whole situation. By just opening the flood gates to anyone and everyone just encourages more and more people to attempt to cross the sea risking their own and their families lives. I also agree as previously mentioned, Why are they not happy to have landed in a safe country? Majority are not. Most want to defy the laws and regulations and do what ever means necessary to get to Germany or UK. If this multi millionaire was able to buy an island for them all and help set up jobs on it etc so that they could become self sufficient, I wonder how many of all those arriving would be happy trying that. I have a sneaky feeling they would get on another form of craft and once again try German.

Could someone please enlighten me ? Some people are lucky enough to have their hubby's companies here pay for their employees children to attend school here which is a great thing given the cost of them. But why when someone who has the same job, same job title, same salary and working for the same company and who doesn't have any small children attending school do they not have perks to make up this difference? Surely that brings the other employees salary/perks way above the other employees? Does this mean their work is less important? Honey, If all other things being equal except that you have no children and your coworker has children and gets school fees, you are much better off, financially. Children cost a fortune. Having children is like having a hoover attached to my purse. I took out a thousand AED from the ATM the other day and I'm already down to under 100. Why? Because of the kids. My god, if I didn't have kids I'd be all over the Fashion Avenue shops at Dubai Mall! When we first came here expat children were not allowed to attend local schools, so they had to go to international schools. The law has since been changed so they can, in theory, attend local schools, but it's an impractical option for those from the US or the UK or elsewhere, as local schools are strictly in Arabic. School fees are meant to ensure that your child is being educated in a decent school somewhat comparable to a decent school in your home country. It's not really a "benefit" as you term it, but an essential aspect of any family's decision to come to the UAE. The school fees goes straight from DH's company to the school. It never comes through our bank accounts. If we didn't get school fees or a corresponding bump in our package, we would seriously re-evaluate staying in the UAE. If DH left, it would cost his company a great deal to replace him. I would like to thank you all for your responses. However I am laughing away here as it has gone from me asking a question to me not having children. I never once said I didn't have children. I have 2 in university. For our first 2 years here we had to pay for all our accommodation as well as all our youngest ones school fees before going to university with no help from the employer whatsoever, we were just happy for the work. So I am quite aware of the expenses of having children and paying for all the school fees as well as university costs too, which believe me can hit like a ton of bricks. I am not complaining either, we love being here. I am certainly not jealous as previously also mentioned by someone else. I was merely asking a question as this could happen to many of you too. Thank you everyone for your comments though.

The payment of school fees allows both employees to be in the same position, financially. If the non-child employee starts getting extra money, the two employees are no longer in the same financial position. The one without children will be in a far more fiscally happy position than the other family. At this time, yourself and the other employee are equal. He/she is not getting MORE than you, the company is simply providing the security you'd get in another country for free in a public school. By giving one money for school and the other money simply because, the staff are no longer equal. I understand exactly what you are saying but just because you don't have school going children doesn't mean you don't have other commitments. The other employee could have children that are attending universities as they are over 18. You have flights to pay for, accommodation for them etc etc. How is that classing someone in the same position ? University is not mandatory though. This is one reason most companies have started to pay an all inclusive salary and left the expat package in the past. Too much debate among employers what is fair and not. There are plenty of companies that don't do packages, maybe your husband would be happier in one of those. This was just something that I asked peoples views or opinions on I didn't expect to get such hateful comments back.

Hi dear ladies, I'm writing to find out is there anyone in the same situation as mine. I'm looking for admin position at nursery or school for 2 month(((( Unfortunately it is not that easy to get desired job. Lets discuss it! May be you have some suggestions to help..... Thank you******* Hi Allya I would also suggest running off a few copies of your CV and personally visiting nurseries or schools in your area. You have nothing to loose. I went into one last year and they had an opening just coming up and then I had a call back from another a few months later that had kept my CV on file. People come and go here all the time, some not even expecting too. So it's another idea and they get to see you too. Good luck.xx

Unfortunately Endsleigh insurance seem to be quite popular but these were the ones that would no cover anything that is 3 years old at time insurance is taken out. Her laptop, being the most expensive item would not therefore be covered. Crazy.

Hello Ladies. My daughter is moving into private rented accommodation in the UK with 3 University friends. Does anyone have any good recommendations for contents insurance for her? We are with Axa here and I saw online that AXA UK have insurance in which you can add to your policy cover for students living away. This unfortunately does not apply to AXA UAE. The accommodation she will be moving into is furnished and an apartment. We just need her clothes, laptop, iPad, iPod, and usual possessions covered. I see there are many in the UK but some won't cover her laptop as its just over 3 years old. ??? Certainly not buying a new laptop when the one she has is a very good one and works brilliant. Just want to make sure she has cover incase of emergencies, which hopefully she won't need but best to be safe. Does anyone have any good recommendations? TIA. xx

I also get annoyed when sales people stalk you even after you said you don't need help. I just tell them to back off and leave me alone. Especially in Boots! I liked the customer service in Wojooh (Faces) in MOE. No stalking just there when you need them. And in all fairness Boots staff do know their products if you do need their help. I certainly agree with the Boots issues. Once I got asked...' mam would you like something for your pigment?' Then following time ' Would you like something for your fine lines around your eyes ?' to which I replied... very rudely ' no thank you, would you like something for yours ?' i just got quite sick of it. One day I was in Boots and an assistant was trying to hard sell some wrinkle cream to a poor guy who didn't need it at all. I felt so sorry for the guy as he looked so embarrassed. I complained quietly to a manager as their selling techniques could give people real phobias about themselves. I know someone very close to me that suffered from anorexia. This illness goes on and on for years and even after treatment they begin to look great again the illness is still in their heads. Imagine being pushed into purchasing a cellulite cream. They seriously need to train their staff better.

Regardless of whether there is a warranty or not, he sold you an item which didn't work to start with - so it was faulty. The manufacturer has an obligation to replace it with one that actually works. You would have thought so, but NO. Crazy isn't it.

But he only wrote no warranty on it AFTER you took it back - unless it was already written on there somewhere else it was not applicable at the time of purchase !! Did the DED not realise that ? Yes the DED did realise that. I explained this to her even after she had seen both the receipt and the docket. Basically the lady at DED said that if you purchase anything in a store etc it should say on the receipt, exchange within a certain period of time, refund etc etc. Because my original receipt was only proof of purchase and had nothing else at all written on like that she said I cannot do anything. She just kept saying you must be very careful when buying products. If they do not have a warranty then you can do nothing. She even contacted the stall herself to see if there was anything she could do for me. But then called me and said the kiosk man said it was sold without a warranty I am unable to do anything. I then received a text message saying case closed. However, by chance, I received a call from the kiosk owner on Thursday evening saying that his dealer had agreed to exchange the charger. This time I took my hubby with me just to stand in the background for moral support. We took a laptop and tested the charger this time and so far so good. Apple told me that all their products carry a serial number and I see that this charger also has a serial number so I will take it into them today and ask them just to check it out for me. Not that I will be able to do anything if its not but just to give me peace of mind and also if it is genuine then I will know that I will certainly have a years warranty with them that they will stand by. I will update you. This has taught me a short sharp lesson and I certainly won't go to such stands again. I am sure there will be genuine retailers out there that will exchange any faulty product, maybe I was just unlucky. But when the DED stressed to me to always check for warranty information I will probably drive all future retailers crackers now with my queries and questions so I know I am covered. I am usually pretty good and keep all my receipts too. I have even noticed that some retailers will say your receipt is your warranty. I have noticed that sometimes these receipts fade very quickly, not sure if its the paper they use in the their till or not and so if you have a warranty of a year or more then I would also advise people to photocopy them too otherwise you'll be taking in a faded receipt which may prove to be worthless.

I contacted our computer company, Apple, regarding this charger. They said each of these chargers would have a serial number on. Even if I get the faulty one back I can take it into their Genuine seller and show it to them. All their genuine chargers hold a warranty of 1 year. So there are even sellers to be very wary of even in the Malls. Please just go to genuine authorised sellers if you want peace of mind. I feel so stupid. Anyway the DED as I already mentioned could not do a thing, even with the receipt. No warranty is no warranty they said.

Yes definitely DED. They are quite swift with all sorts of consumer complaints. Yours is quite straight forward. Thank you but I already tried them. When we finally handed over the faulty charger last night to the seller we insisted on proof to say he had taken it. On this docket he said.... 'Charger not working (No Warranty). Taken charger to send to dealer.' The DED said to me this morning because he stated on the docket that there is no warranty we have no leg to stand on basically. I sent a copy of my proof of purchase with a copy of the document this morning so she has seen everything.

I am usually very careful where I buy my products. However through a quick bit of stupidity I purchased a laptop charger from a small kiosk in a mall. Being very stupid I just assumed that being in a mall that all outlets could be trustworthy. How wrong I was. The item purchased was in a sealed box and a very well known brand. I paid by card and kept my receipt. The charger did not work at all. We even tried it on another laptop to make sure it wasn't the battery of the computer we had bought it for. Still did not charge. So we went back to the mall concerned and took in the charger and the box and the receipt. Please also note that this was within 2 weeks of purchase. The seller refused to exchange, refused to refund and said he couldn't do anything. He said it didn't come with a warranty . The receipt was not good enough at all. After lots of heated exchanges he said he would send it to his dealer and see what he says. Basically if the dealer wants to exchange it, he might, but if he doesn't then we only have the choice of taking the faulty charger back. So please just be warned if buying ANYTHING from anywhere, even in a mall , either get a warranty and make sure it is a warranty that is a good one or BETTER STILL go to a reputable store that has a warranty as part of their sales. Luckily I have learnt a lesson buying in haste and thankfully haven't lost a fortune. Obviously you would expect such a practice in possibly such places as Karama but I just was stupid and thought that in a mall it would be different. How wrong I was. So if I can warn you all then thats a good thing.

HELP! Is there truly no way to get western pain medications here? I took Esgic (butalbital) for tension and cluster headaches but didn't realize the issues getting it prescribed here. Any suggestions? Not going back to the states until June, so any suggestions would be helpful! Sorry I just have noticed this thread and you are probably now in the USA. But for anyone else that this may help I thought I would post this. I realise we shouldn't take tablets unless you speak to your doctor but by all means go and suggest these and see what he says and if they could benefit you. For many many years I suffered, every month, around my period, with severe headaches. I would get them for about 3 days constant. The only way i found relief was to sleep but I would still wake up with them. Sometimes they would be so bad I would feel sick. In UK and Ireland I was prescribed numerous tablets and in the end I seriously felt like a guinea ***. Most of these tablets had bad side effects and nothing seemed to work. Then one day I saw a German doctor in Dublin he was certain he could prescribe something that would help. Obviously I was very sceptical but as usual willing to try. He prescribed for me " INDERAL" tablets, 80mg. Now over here they don't appear to do the 80mg tablet. The closest I could get was 40mg. He also told me to take Panadol Extra with these as these contain caffeine. So basically I take 2 Inderal, only once a day. as they are a slow release tablet and then 2 Pandol Extra. If I catch the headache before it starts to feel like it is exploding then I don't need anything else at all. If throughout the day i still get the odd headache I can ONLY take Panadol Extra. Obviously no more than safety amounts allow. I have never looked back at all. Yes I still get the odd headache but I obviously now can catch it on the offset and now never need more than the Inderal and the 2 Panadol and the headache is gone. please go and speak to your GP obviously before taking these but suggest these to make sure you'll be ok with them. They seriously work for me and I carry them with me all the time just incase. I wouldn't usually suggest medication to anyone but chat to your GP first. If i can help someone get relief then that can't be a bad thing. I know how bad and miserable these headaches are. GOOD LUCK. xxx

I am wanting to remodel a couple of ring into 1 with my own diamonds and gold. I was given Cara Jewellers as a recommendation. I would love some input with this company or any other recommendations. I would also highly recommend Cara at the Gold and Diamond Park. They remodelled my engagement ring as some claws were loosening due to the age of it. I was offered to either wait or follow my ring into the workshop and I even filmed the work they did on it. So it never left my sight. Just another idea if you are concerned at all. Our daughter just had her engagement ring made there too and it is stunning. This however did take a couple of days to be made because of the design. The shop is always so busy, always a good sign too.
