Morning ladies, Does anyone know where I can find the brand FunkRush t-shirts? it's my cousins birthday and he adores this brand and I really want to make him happy! I thought seeing as its Dubai you would be able to find any brand here :(

I would also consider looking at Jumeirah Village Triangle, its a bit further away but you get much more for your money. 2 bed villa is 90,000 which I think is very reasonable. Not sure about the travel distance though. You should have a look at Dubizzle.com if you want the best deals for property and you can have a look at 2nd hand furniture there as well.

I just went there yesterday and its still open, spoke to one of the sales men and he told me that they were open till Saturday but that he heard a rumour that it might be extended another week. I'm guessing as long as the weather is still nice. But the fairground (all the rides) were already closed !

I had very bad acne when I was 18-20. In the end went to skin specialist and the prescribed Rakuten. Its a course of up to 6 months, only can be prescribed by a doctor, has potential nasty side effect. It dries up your skin and stops spots for up to 10 years! Im so happy with results. BUT of course only a doctor can recommend if this is the best treatment for your friend. Hope that helps. Also my hubby-to-be uses a cream for spots, applies it when it just starts showing and has same effect, dries up skin and stops spots coming, its called Acne-n-pimple cream from Himalaya herbals.. I love that cream too, and you can get it from most pharmacies and that doesnt need prescription.

I'm soon to be married and I know Im not leaving the honeymoon suit till Im pregnant, we are so excited to start a family. But when friends/ inlaws with kids hear about our plans all I get is negative remarks. "noooo..... kids are such a headache" "you should never have them, they are such a pain" "sleepless nights blah blah"... my response is " I know what lies ahead and I'm excited, some people are meant to have kids and some are not !!! " I hate it when I get negative comments about wanting to start a family or how my body will get deformed and streached after i deliver or whatever else they like to throw my way!! all I can say is I'm soooooo happy for you and your new adventure and I'm sure you will love every moment of life with your new family! I'm jelous ;) but I'll be joing the adventure of motherhood very soon and cant wait !!

Wow, whats all this hostility ;) my opnion is that massages are to be enjoyed so do whatever your comfortable with. you are a paying customer and the last thing you need to feel is uncomfortable. So if you are happy getting massaged with all or none of your clothes then so be it! I think i'll go have one today, with panties and maybe even leggings..... it does get chilly in there ! morning ladies :D

So sorry to hear about your cat. Please dont loose hope, cats are very tough and have some amazing survival skills, I have a 16 yr old cat, and I have lost him once before, I walked every alley around the neighbourhood, looked under every car, and called out for him every 20 secs and listened for a reply. until i found him under a car 6 blocks away. At night, when its quiet is the best time to look for him, as he is more likely to respond to your calls and not try to hide! using a flashlight will also be easier to spot the reflection in his eyes. have you contacted the Dubai Municipality? If not, please do. You can not believ how many times I have heard the sad stories of owners contacting Dubai Municipality too late, they keep "strays" for a week and if nobody comes to claim the cat, they put them to sleep. Also cotact all the vets in the neighbourhood as usually peoples first reaction when they find a cat that doesnt look like it belongs on the streets is bring it to the vets. Vets also dont communicate much together, so ask all the vtets that you can reach. I will look through all the website I can think of that might have "lost and found" sections. Good Luck, hopefully he will be back with you soon.

Good luck with letting your cat out. Just wanted to add, letting your cat out at night and during the day are very different experiences. I would advice to let him out during the day to start off with and keeping him at night. They are much more active and adventurous at night and will wander off a lot further, and chances of him getting lost, injured by other cats are much higher. I recently moved into JVT and let my 2 cats out during the day, which they spend all of their time in the garden, but at night one cat (16yrs old) has to stay in, while his 2 yr old friend can go out. Also pls make sure you have mirco-chipped, but more importantly your cat wears a collar with your contact info and Dubai Municipality tag. DM has the right to confiscate any cat (if they can catch him) if it does not have a DM tag (yes, even if is wearing a collar! and my advice is to have a quick release collar, should your cat gets stuck somewhere! I know its more costly, I know my cat has gone through a lot of collars but its not worth taking the risk! Just a thought :) hope all goes well with your first day!

I would stay away from Rock bottom (burDubai) too! I have never managed to really enjoy myself there. Always seems like there are too many creeps that have no respect for boundries. Had a guy put his hand up my skirt once, another time a guy punched my friend because we were laughing at something else (but he must have had too much to drink and very paranoid), tried to stop the fight only to get kicked in the head by the same guy......have stayed far away from the bur dubai RB since.... I love Irish village! lots of seating, great vibe, love the band !!! but thats just me :)
