I am still here! I have started the 6wks to 6pack and am on week 2. It's great but I am getting bored with it now, so I am mixing it up with the shred. I think my stomach is looking better though so I am going to try and stick with it. The shred is so much better because it is shorter and fits into my schedule. It great to come on the forum and hear everyone's results -way to go Dohadaze! So many people seem to be mixing up the DVDs, this thread is turning into a Jillian fan club!

Way to go Dohadaze! Round 2 level 2 yesterday and I hurt so much I haven't done the shred today yet (I usually do it first thing). Now my dilemma, shred or bed??

Excellent work DC! It feels good doesn't it. Keep going, I am amazed at how easy level 1 seems now. I must be so much stronger. Looking forward to hearing your results.

Help! I make sponge cakes all the time, the usual 6oz butter, 6oz sugar, 6oz flour and 3eggs. However, I have just bought a big tin 12" x 16" and I can't work out how much mixture I need to fill it. Can anyone help me scale up? TIA

I am back on track today after 2 days off (no excuses) but I have totally lost track of what day I am on. I am thinking of doing 1week level 1, 1 week level 2 etc as it is my second time around. I guess it all still has the same effect?? Chocs01, I haven't changed my eating habits but, as it has been said before, when I exercise in the morning I tend to go for healthier choices so as not to undo the good. I reckon if you diet whilst doing the shred you will see massive changes, but I like the fact that I have seen changes whilst still eating chocolate and cake!! DC, twice a day!!?? Isn't once enough for you?? Come on you Shreddies!

I use the glow bar all the time for waxing and think they are fine. Very quick and professional and not caught any dodgy diseases yet!!

Yep, that feeling you get when you're onto cooldown and you know you've made it through another day is just brilliant. I'm resisting measuring myself again before the end of my 30 days, but I can see my arms are trimmer and I've lost fat on my top half and bum/hips/legs. My baby-induced jelly belly is still there, but I think it's slightly smaller. I know it's more toned because I've got my grooves back :D - I have a little dent either side, just under my ribs, where my tummy muscles start. Bit like the top of a six-pack, but I'd say someone pinched the bottom four cans. Hurrah! Hahaha, that sound like my tummy! Round 2, level 1, day 1. I can do push ups for the first time in my life!! Only the first set though, the second set had to be on my knees again, but whoever knew I had it in me!? I hurt under my arms though today and am feeling really tired after walking round the souks for 3 hours last night. The shred is going to be difficult today.. P.s. Thanks girls for all your nice comments. X

The results are in! I have shredded 3cm off my upper waist, 2cm off the belly and 2cm off by hips. Nothing off the arms and thighs and no weight lost, but I am putting that down to fat being converted to muscle! My clothes feel better and I feel better, so I am very happy with the results. I started the shred again from level 1 today, Natalie style with heavier weights. Bring it on!

I'm still here! I have lost count of what day I am on though as I missed a couple. I think I have finished the 30 days but it was a bit random in the end due to having visitors. I love having them here but they are ruining my routine! Anyway, I will take the measurements again in the morning to see the results and then I think I will start it all again as I feels much better when I am doing it. Results to follow.

I am fed up that I didn't have time to do the shred yesterday, but was back with full force today. Level 2 day 6 completed and feeling great! I was back to the heavier weights and found level 2 kind of enjoyable for the first time!

L2 day 4 done. I didn't think I was going to make it today. I hit a wall during the first circuit, but dropped the weights and carried on. I soon got back into it, but my body really aches. I cant say I am enjoying level 2 as much as level 1 DubaiCat, you make me laugh. It's been three years since my last baby, so really haven't got any excuse!

Level 2 day 3 complete. I really worked hard today and can now feel all the muscles in my back when i move! I too see changes around the tummy, but I am still concerned that although the tummy seems to be toning, this is making the baby belly stick out even further. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me?

I downloaded one on my iPad called Yoga HD, which is quite good. However, the set routines are about 35 min minimum. However you can put together your own one if you know what you are doing. I do it sometimes straight are the shred when I feel I need to stretch out a bit.

I almost didn't do it but then I saw myself naked when I was about to get in the shower tonight and turned off the tap, put on some clothes and did Day 12 Round 2. And I hurt :\: Good going CT. I can't do it in the evening. By the time the kids are in bed all I can do is collapse on the sofa!

Day 1 of Level 2 Done!!! It was very hard for me today...but hopefully i will do better tomorrow... I'm so happy I could wear my jeans yesterday and I didn't feel I was stuck in them!!! I can feel my body getting in shape again and notice that doing the workouts early makes me choose better what i eat during the day... Same for me! Day 2 done today, how hard is level 2!! I thought I was going to keel over and die! Those plank things are tough. From now on no more missing a day, it is only harder the next. Have a good day girls.

Level 1 complete! Hooray! I am looking forward to level 2 tomorrow. I am feeling a little more toned, especially my arms, but my baby belly seems to be sticking out more than before! Am I allowed to take measurements again now, or do you think I should wait till the end?

L1 Day 9 done. I can't believe I have kept this going for 9 days in a row. It's the most enthusiastic I have been about exercise in my life! I feel so much better. Today I also had a free morning without children, so I followed the shred with some yoga to stretch my muscles out a bit. Now I am positively glowing! Come on ladies, we are going to look hot!

Hi Alisha! Welcome to the forum. We moved to Dubai last september and stayed in rented accommodation for the first few weeks till we found a house. We also used PK rent and stayed in Dubai Marina. It was a good place to start out as it is easy access from there to the SZ road. They also had some places on the Palm, as we have to move there for a few days while our house was getting ready. We now live in the meadows and love it. Some of the springs and meadows like ours back on to an access road at the back giving very good access to the Al Khail Road and Emirate Road, both of which make travelling to the airport easy. It is very green here and I love sitting in the garden listening to the birds and pretending I am not in a big city! There are loads of nice areas in Dubai though, you just have to find what's right for you. Good luck with the move!

Day 8 Level 1! I have found it much better with the sound on mute :-) Hee hee! I think I might be doing that tomorrow and putting my stereo on loud. Gillian can get quite annoying when she tells you the same thing every day!

Day 6 level 1 done! Feeling very pleased with myself this morning as I woke up the last 2 days not feeling any aches and pains, so I decided to swap my sand bottles with the new, never been used, 5 lb weights I had in the cupboard for the last 3years. I managed the whole work out up until the last set of arm lifts, where I had to abandon the weights and revert back to my bottles. I am feeling really good at the moment, but have strong suspicion that I will not be saying the same thing in the morning! I am not seeing any body changes at the moment, but I am definitely feeling a bit stronger and fitter.

Just to let you all know I found it, eventually!! I drove around Rashidiya for about 10 minutes and then I started to follow 2 4x4s that were driving with purpose. It worked! They drove straight past the place! I am sorry though, I couldn't give you directions if I tried!

Day 1 complete. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but then again I was only using sand in bottles, instead of hand weights, and they only weighed 1 lb each! Does this still count? I guess I know when I wake up tomorrow and see how much I ache!!! Good luck everyone.

Hi Ladies, may I say what an inspiration you are! I have been following this thread with much anticipation! Now it is my turn. Does anyone know a site where I can download the dvd and then burn it on to a disk so I can "watch" it from my living room and not the computer? TIA
