Hi You need to apply for a "Student Visa" for your son. The school will provide you with all the paper work you need for the Dubai Immigration. Its the same when he goes to college over here.

A friend forwarded this msg While driving on a rural end of the roadway in Al Warqa on Thursday morning, I saw an infant car seat on the side of the road with a blanket draped over it. For whatever reason, I did not stop, even though I had all kinds of thoughts running through my head. But when I got to my destination, I called the Police and they were going to check it out. But, this is what the Police advised even before they went out there to check.... "There are several things to be aware of... Gangs and thieves are now plotting different ways to get a person (mostly women) to stop their vehicle and get out of the car. "There is a gang initiation reported by the local Police where gangs are placing a car se at by the road...with a fake baby in! It...Waiting for a woman, of course, to stop and check on the abandoned baby. "Note that the location of this car seat is usually beside a wooded or grassy (field) area and the person -- woman -- will be dragged into the woods, beaten and raped, and usually left for dead. If it's a man, they're usually beaten and robbed and maybe left for dead, too. Please do not stop for any reason!!! Just dial 999 immediately and report what you saw……but don't even slow down. (take note of this very important reminder…!!!) "if you’re driving at night and eggs are thrown at your windscreen, do not stop to check the car, do not operate the wiper and do not spray any water because eggs mixed with water become milky and block your vision up to 92.5% and you are then forced to stop beside the road and become a victim of these criminals. This is a new technique used by gangs, around al khawaneej, mirdiff , al aweer , al warqa , int’l.city and who knows some other parts of Dubai or worst the whole UAE too… so please inform your friends and relatives. These are desperate times and these are unsavoury individuals who will take desperate measures to get what they want." please talk to your loved ones about this. These are their new tricks and tactics using. So let’s be vigilant and protect ourselves. Please kindly send this message to all your family, friends, colleagues and the ones you’ve known to be careful and be aware of everything around them so as not to become a victim of this soul less culprit.

Hey Sue From Emirates Rd its very easy but you will be getting a lot of Traffic. I am sure you know the National Paints flyover on Emirates Rd...well you need to turn left (coming from Dubai) under that flyover on to Maliha RD and keep heading straight down you will pass 1 small round about then 3 Main Signals after which you will go over a flyover then another signal just keep heading staright over another flyover after which the Souk should come on your left handside. edited by ShazDubai on 16/02/2011

Sure if its the Blue Souk in Sharjah you are talking about...Take Sk Zayed Rd all the way to Sharjah..Once you cross under the Al Khan Flyover which is after the KFC on the highway...You will be on Al Wahda ST keeping going straight untill you see (on your right) Sharjah City Center. Now slow down and stay on your right lane you will be going under another flyover, take the first right after it which will take you on the flyover (basically you are going left). Once you have done that you will be on King Faisal St. You will pass 1 Main Signal just keep heading straight and you see the Blue Souk on your left handside. I know its complicated but thats Sharjah ; ) Hope this helps
