I am in the real estate sector and from my experience the shift is more towards newer developments or anything Offplan due to flexible payment plan. Also springs is quite old and you have lot of newer villa communities coming or established. Springs will require high maintenance given their age. It really depends on what your requirements are and based on that you make a decision. Prices have dropped a lot and it s probably not the end yet.

I was seeing Dr Amla for quite a while but during my 7th month of pregnancy moved to Dr Janaki in Welcare as I heard she was one of the best in town. Was very happy with my decision. Nearly impossible to get an appointment with her

2000 dhs?! Are you kidding?! I bought a gorgeous rack from Maison Chic - holds 40 bottles - made of teak with drawers as well and it cost 450dhs. Seriously. I'd be interested in getting another rack but 2000dhs is just crazy money. Sorry. ETA: If you paid more than 2000dhs for this 'as new' then you were ripped off. Completely taken to the cleaners. edited by LadyBee on 17/02/2014 Hi lady bee I bought it for much more than that. Anyways i am willing to let go of it at 1500 dhs. Between this is rose wood which is much better quality than teak wood and also more pleasant visually.

And how much they cost. TIA Hi moonbean I had tried angsana spa at emirates hills which was ok and then tried tali spa at madinat jumeirah which was excellent. Its a bit expensive but worth it.

Ladies, Thanks for taking the time to post your experiences. We are due to have DD2 at City anytime now and have appreciated the heads up on issues that you have all experienced recently - it is a far different experience to what we had 20 months ago so will keep our eyes and ears peeled. Will also endeavour to post our experience once back home to let you know if things have improved or not. Wish you all the best perkynan and hope things go smooth for you. Hugs Just reread the full post and realized you have already delivered :-) hearty congratulations and glad all went well with you. Take care edited by sherryd on 19/09/2013

OP the post-labour ward at City was dreadful in my experience. Pre-labour the nurses were lovely and so attentive but once I'd had my baby and was moved to the next floor, the nurses were rushing around, I had to beg for wet dressings to be changed for 2 hours, and it took hours to prepare the final bill, again with loads of insurance drama. I am therefore having my next baby at Al Zahra where it is a haven of calm and everything is spotless and in order. DB I have heard some good reviews on Al Zahra. Wish you all the very best.

When my baby was around 6 weeks old and my in laws were staying with us for 3 weeks I had supply issues.. For me it was a really stressful period, cause they kept saying that baby was crying cause of hunger and according to them her weekly weight gain was not enough... I went to see Dr Delphine and she prescribed me motilium. I'm not sure if it was the medicine or the lack of stress which helped my supply, but after a few weeks I stopped gradually and ever since (my DD is nearly 13 months) I have had no supply problems. I can highly recommend to see her and she will help you for sure. For my first baby i went through the exact same phase. Met dr delphine who asked to check kelly mum website and i took fenugreek thereafter. Supply went up big time

You could use fenugreek as that helped me a lot. Also as others advised you should pump after bf. if you do use a pump then its very important to use a good pump. I use hospital grade pump and rented it. I rented it from a lady in jumeirah. Would be happy to provide you with her number if you want. For my first baby i remember i used avent pump which was rubbish as it took me hours and i would get very little milk but with hospital grade pump it took 10 minutes only and i had produced lot of milk. Lastly look at kellymom website as it gives you good tips on how to increase milk supply. Drinks lots of water as well :-)

Just out of curiosity, how much did they charge you for the ambulance and the nurses from Rachid Hospital? And also, what was the number your husband called, might come in handy to have that information. Thanks, You will be surprised. The ambulance services are free and because we went to private hospital they charged us around 300 dhs otherwise they would drop you of to rashid hospital for free. The emergency number is 999. Note that based on what i understand you cannot just deliver your baby at home thinking you will save charges as the ambulance will automatically bring you to a hospital for follow up and the charges start from the moment you reach the hospital.

Dear OP, I am very sorry that you had to go through this. On the other hand I am very happy to hear you had a very "quick" birth in the comfort of your own home and both you and your baby are safe and sound. It sounds to me that your doctor is very concerned about insurance, why is that? Have you mentioned to her that you were afraid that insurance wont cover you? Also, why did you have to be induced at a specific date you didnt even like? This sounds very confusing to me as I dont see a connection with your insurance to be honest. I think you are very lucky that your husband stayed so calm and had the perfect sense of putting you in bed in stead of rushing you to the hospital in the car. About the sandwich, I can really imagine how hungry you must have been by then but wasn't there any option for your husband to run down to the cafeteria and get you something to speed up the process. Anyway, thanks for sharing your story and wish you all the best. Dear Kenzab Thank you for your concern. In regards to your question on insurance i was covered but the doctor felt that if i come after midnight then i will not be charged for the extra night basically and the following morning i will get induced. The insurance covered 10k but for me it was not a concern at all as i had taken package as well with city and anything extra we would have paid. I was due on 13 july and had gestational diabeties. However it was not that bad but the doctor felt i should be induced before in order to avoid any complications, henceforth she told me i need to get induced latest by 3rd july as after it was the weekend and she was not available. For me the later the better as i was working and so set the date. never wanted it this way as preferd to let it happen naturally whenever the baby was ready but when i was told that i can put dd life at risk, i agreed to get induced earlier. For my first baby i had the same issue but i was not asked to come in earlier to get induced. The water broke and when the baby was ready it happened. In regards to sandwitch, i was told by the nurse that it would arrive soon and once i had changed and was resting in room my husband left me to go home to get things as there was no time earlier with all the chaos taking place at hone. Had we known it would never arrive he would have surely gone even out of the hospital to get me one :-) Take care and thanks for checking on me

I want to buy the single electric pump for avent But the Q. Is it work if i put big or small from others bottles for the same brand of avent ? Please avoid buying avent single breast pump. I had the same one and it was absolute rubbish. The best is double breast pump of medella. I actually rented hospital grade rent pump and it did wonders. Big difference from avent and its always better to use double breast pump than single. Hope it helps I am one month away from delivering and without any second thout will rent again hospital grade rent pump. With avent i was spending hours believe it or not and with hgpump i spent only 15 minutes and had enough supply :-) Thanks

Thanks jenc checking out their website now and will call them first thing tom morning.. Im assuming they would have props for new born.. Just to have an idea how much do they charge for 2 hours shoot. Any idea? Found the prices on their website :-) ill call them tom

Have a look at Playhousecreations webpage, he is a British carpenter who I know has done some custom made shelves for someone. Thanks penc i will call and check and lets see if they revert.. I checked out ikea but to be honest dint like much. The shelves they have may look a bit cheap for our living room i feel. I saw in the one which was nice but to small.. Custom made would be fab. I recently saw a webpage for fresh home and got some great ideas from there.

I would agree with morning glory you really don't need to use a financial advisor, I would contact a few banks directly to see what loan terms they are offering for mortgages. I know RAK Bnk were offering mortgages start with them. Good luck 100% agree, I wasted 5000AED on a mortgage advisor who was asking me for all the contacts of the banks I had spoke to to get me the "best deal" and always came up with the same price that the bank/mortgage company offered me, he then wanted an additional 2% of the sale price so I just forfeited the 5000 and went directly with the bank. Thanks for your feedback! Which bank would you recommend?
