mine too!! DD used to be a star.. she's sleep for 6 hrs straight, then 2 night feeds... but just last week, her pattern changed, only 4 hrs, then every hour!!! i changed her feed by adding formula, i made her sleep more...nothing helps!! i want this to end... :( but when???

thx shjbelle, maybe I'll five that body shop vit E butter a go. What's E45? it's like a moistuiring cream one uses during shower for super dry skin.. u can get them at any pharmacy.. S

I remember that..lol I don't really like coco butter's smell when I was pregnant, so I used body shop's vitamin E body butter... Vit E is what was recommended by my plastic surgeon friend... it works!! I got the itch at the b00bs too, for that I used E45 during my shower, the DH used that for his eczema.. No stretch marks on boths tummy n t*ts.. :D S

I had most of my dresses tailored..i took sexy maxi dresses online and got the tailor to make it baby-bellied!! I got alot of compliments and questions from other preggy mommies who ask which boutique i got my dresses from.. :) sshhh... don spread the trick ok? ;)

nonsense!! i flew for 7 years of which 2 were running the plane, in charge of all cabin crew, no such thing.... unless it's a new rule..ask them to show u black n white next time..as crew have to carry their manuals on all flights...

just did it for DD 2 weeks ago, drove to oman, got the exit stamp in Oman, on her passport as hers don't have a residence visa, went to the border crossing, park the car, went in, filled up a form, paid dhs 200 got the entry visa for her and went home!! easy peasy

Hi Plummie, You will be fine!! -plan your driving time. do it after making sure that DD is fully fed. -drive on the slow lane. where will you be driving too and from where? worse comes to worse, when DD cries for food, drive into a service road and put on your b/feeding blanket and feed her. that's what i do... remember that in the car, babies feel really comfy as tho they are in the womb so they will sleep longer. you will not get into an accident... you will be great... i bet you will get to your destination even before DD wakes up!! S

Sorry to hear that... I thought I had thrush, it was similar pain esp when LO latches... What I did was, after every feed, I wipe the nip with damn cotton pad. Had to do it for a week.. also, changing the b@@@@t pad regularly helped a lot too.. and the coco butter cream for nip... I didn't take any medication as the day I was going to, it healed.. lol hope it gets better soon. S

You mustn't, however, start any solids before 40 months (18 weeks? 20 weeks?) because their gut isn't physically mature enough to process it. hhmmm... 40 months?

How old is your DD? Maybe she is going through a growth spurt right now? In the last 14 months I don't think my DD ever had any pattern. Just when I thought that I nailed it down and she has a routine, it all changes. I wouldn't stress out too much about it as their routines change constantly. she's only 4 months..

Like you, I thought following to the T what was advised through books would work. But its most important to do what works for you. What I used to do for DD when she was that age was and til today really, at 8ish, it's time for bed bath with warm water with a few drops of johnson's bedtime bath ( the purple bottle ) then I massage her down with the bedtime oil, also the purple bottle ( which btw contains lavender oil which is very calming), don her jimmys and rock her to bed, after nursing and burping her. I also swaddled her, I have just recently changed the swaddle for the babygro and baby pillows. at 3 weeks, she'd wake ups up every 2 hrs to feed. I burp her then rock her to bed again. The thing is that I trained DD to sleep with noise ( again for my benefit ;) ) so i've got nursery rhymes playing softly in the background. DD also has the dummy. oh..i know it's gonna sound bad, but i don do nappy change at night unless it's really a poo or really bothering her. I only do it at 6am once she's awake. :) S <em>edited by shjbelle on 23/01/2011</em>

I delivered at International Modern Hosp. in Mankhool, Dubai. Had a lovely experience and they saved my babies life by detecting a deadly congenital heart defect we didnt know she had! Their Maternity package is very reasonably priced and the hosp is small and quiet. i gave birth to DD there too!!!
