Thanks homegal. I have mailed it to them. Snowflake - He has an experience of more than 4 years of retail sales in India and currently for past 6 months he is working for a logistics co here in Dubai as Customer Service Executive and Document Controller. Hope this helps and thanks for all your help. Stickywicket - He has completed his probation period but he doesnt have any evidence which shows that he had informed his manager about this before joining the company :( Infact I checked with the Ministry they said there is no article in labour law which talks about emergency leave. So its left at the discretion of the company and the management can take any action. They also mentioned that he will get a ban if they terminate him. The only way is to lift the ban by finding another job in a freezone, semigovernment or government company or if a private co hires him with a salary of AED 5000+ showing his Higher Secondary Certificate.

Thanks desertprincess you have mail. minimoo she was threatening him till now and today when he went to ask her for the passport for his leave for his exams which are due next week in india, and which he had duly mentioned at the time of interview and was accepted by them and he had also filled the application form and given a month back for 15 days emergency leave. She told him if his exams are so important, he can stop coming to office from tomorrow :(

Hi Ladies, Do you know of any vacant position in Freezone, Semigovernment or Government company. Or any private firm offering a salary of AED 5000 and above. It can be for any sales or marketing position. My fiance is in desperate need of the job. His current employer has terminated him. The marriage is in November out here, all the arrangements are done. We cant afford the 6 months ban at this period. Please help ladies. TIA

Thanks ladies. I checked with my Fiance's situation as had been stated by me in my earlier post. Unfortunately he will get a 6 months ban irrespective of the fact that he is on probation period. He has to get a job in Freezone to stay out here. I dont know what to do. I dont want him to go back :(

Hi Ladies, I hope I don't sound crazy. But I saw lights like kind of flashlights coming out from the clouds. It was not very bright. It was appearing & disappearing quickly. And I also saw small star like objects moving towards it and then disappearing. Did anyone else see this? Or know what this is????

Hi bluebogger, You can also check with Bakemart, they need 2 days prior confirmation and they can deliver it to where you want. They charge AED 100 per kg. They have a shop in Karama. Let me know if you need the contact details. I had just checked with them last week about the cake.

As of 1st January this year the ban and NOC system no longer exists. But I just read it in Gulfnews today, that the ban still applies if you end the contract before 2 years Oh really? Ok, but during probation either side can terminate with immediate effect without any issues, that's what probation is there for. Okie! Thanks for the reassurance. I dont want him going back home, then again waiting for 6 months to start with the job hunt.

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to know if an employer is terminating you during the probation period due you entitled to get the 6 months ban or can you switch jobs? My fiance just got a job and now due to recession his company has issued notice that few of them will be sacked. He is into logistics as documentation controller & customer service executive but previously worked in retail sector. He is afraid that he might be in the list. With marriage round the corner out here in Dubai, I'm just hoping he doesnt get the ban. I dont know what to do. Can you please advice. I'm at my wits end with the marriage preparations and his work situation is not helping. :( Thanks in advance

I was on pill to induce it on time, as I have PCOS but it lead to weight gain. Hence I stopped it. Currently Im having virgin coconut oil (1 tbsp twice a day) and its really helping in getting it on time and regular basis. Hope this helps.

what do you mean by a theme? Hmmm...theme would be something on which the wedding decor is based on. Say like a fairytale theme, and you have the decor of the ballroom done to suit the theme. Have a cake done and wedding favours done accordingly.
