just be cautions while buying carpets from guys coming to the houses. most of the time the you don't get the real thing. as now there are a lot of artificial silk carpets from India. which people get confused as the real silk the size you mentioned 195x295cm if the the same it should not be more that 1300 dhs. that's why i only go to a dealer.

we went for dinner last night to Al Hadeerah restaurant at the Bab Al Shams Hotel. and i found this store in the lobby they have gorgeous Swarovski element handbags. i bought two and the guy gave me a really good deal. As the one in Dubai Mall are expensive they were asking Dhs: 3800 for 1. i am happy for now until i see something else i really love to buy. Thank you all.

For sofa i don't know about the sofa but for carpets you can try the place i go for i.e. Mehreen Carpets. they are really good.

we were in Istanbul last year and it was amazing. the food and culture. for sure you will have a excellent time there. the people are very nice and if you go to the grand bazaar my god you will not stop shopping. the guys there want to sell you everything. just when you go to a very crowed places watch out for pick pockets. hope you have a nice time there and please share with us once you are back.

I rather go to a reputed dealer than any carpet guys coming to my house and disturbing my privacy. As when i was in Bahrain i had a bad experience with one of the carpet guys. i was swimming and heard someone knocking on my door. When i saw it was this guy wanted to come in and show carpet. As i was in my swimsuit i asked him not to come in but he insisted that it will just take 5 minutes. He was wearing a white dress seem as if was Bahraini but actually he was from Yeman. After that i never buy carpets from people coming to my place. I rather that my time and go to the store whenever i need something. Does anyone else had any similar experience.

hi. now is a good time to rent a house in Dubai the prices have been really slashed and we also got a good deal for our villa at the Arabian Ranches. try to get directly from the land load in whichever area you like as through middle mans you might have to pay commissions.

the thing with these new smart phones is if you are buying a new device maybe a samsung galaxy or i phone and you have got the data plan from the provider you have to wait for the data plan to activate. it normally takes couple of days. Unless it's not activated if you use and apps using 3g it will cost you way to much. my husband learn it the hard way. so you can check with your provider either Etisalat or Du.
