I would tell you to choose Dr Hananh Mountasser Yahi (still in BrightPoint RoyalHospital) who is a really really good doctor but not only; she is so human, so nice as a person. I had my D&C with her this morning. I highly recommend her.

Dear Nestie, Thank you for your words. I thought about complaining and finally forgot it, I don't have the energy for it currently :) This lady really hurt me. My D and C was rescheduled thursday 28th. I should have been 9 week pregnant that day. I cannot stop to think about it, I cannot turn the page, as I still have everything in my belly. I really feel stupid to write this! It is already a lot to read the both of you. Really appreciate that.

Hi ladies, I am sorry to read everything you are all went through. I am currently 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Unfortunately, the embryo development stopped after 6 weeks and a half, but the rest continued to develop. My bhcg was 2 days ago more than 40000. The heart never beat. My gynecologist confirmed me after 3 ultrasounds (made from january 9 to 19) it was over. She adviced me a private hospital to get the abortive medicine and avoid the D and C procedure. Unfortunately (I live in Abu Dhabi) we find it only in public hospitals (Mafraq and Corniche that is more for the locals). So we scheduled a D and C for tuesday in the private hospital. The gyne told me "Try Mafraq hospital, sure they will give you the medicine, take an ultrasound with you, they will make another one and after comparison, there will not be any doubt. After that you can cancel the D and C with me". I went, and they absolutely refused to give it to me. I will not talk about the gynecologist I met there again (I posted a thread about that in Abu Dhabi forum)... She confirmed the pregnancy stopped 2 weeks before. She let me leaving with my dead embryo in the belly proposing me to wait one more week. I have absolutely no pain, no bleedings so I am looking forward tuesday as this nightmare ends. It will be my second miscarriage in 4 months, but thanks God my husband and I already have a wonderful 17 month - old daughter. Take care ladies, good luck and many healthy babies to come...

Dear ladies, I am currently two-month pregnant but, unfortunately, my pregnancy has stopped. My gynecologist already "prepared" me to the worst as she explained me, two weeks ago, that there would probably be a problem. One week ago, she confirmed me the pregnancy stopped around one week ago. So second miscarriage to come for me. The problem is that nothing happens, I am not bleeding, no pain... and I still have symptoms as my pregnancy hormone is still high (42000 ui/L) and it is very hard to accept. I met another gynecologist in a private hospital and scheduled an abortion operation for next week. After that, I went to a diffrrent hospital, to get the abortive medicine, as they can stop this nightmare, in that case I could avoid the operation. I had an ultrasound, that showed a too small embryo for a supposed to be 8 week pregnancy. No hearbeating. After 4 hours, finally, a female gynecologist came to me and was so rude. I showed her the other ultrasounds, we could easily understand that nothing happened these last 2 weeks. The ultrasounds were not acceptable for her as I made them in another place. She never wanted to trust me when I tried to explain her my pregnancy could not be younger. She refused to hear that reading the ultrasounds reports of the last two weeks and the new one I had in here, the pregnancy was absolutely over. She asked me if I wanted to teach her her job, to teach her how to read a report (me I was crying and stayed polite of course) She left and went back with two security guys (?!). In my opinion, she did not want to take any responsibility, she finally said " Come back in one week, we will see". So I will be operated next week. If you have any gynae problem in such a difficult situation, this is not what you need.

Hi Sarah Lou, You are absolutely right, the point is I am looking for a job and when he talked me about one, I just thought I had chance. This is something I absolutely never do but that time, I did. Of course when I left I just thought "How come can I be so naive and stupid" but unfortunately it happened. I trusted this man. And I would add that such a thing would not have happened in my country. It was unthinkable it could here in the UAE. My husband got information from his local colleagues, and they adviced me to do that, warn women here, as we can do something with the police if it happens/has happened to other women.
