That's exactly what they said to me too when I had lengthy emails back and forth with them a few years ago about setting up a group here after having lost a lot of weight alone ( husbands support only)..... They didn't have plans to in this area at all, like nobody needs help here!? Anyway I didnt join on line, originally borrowed my pure points book about 6 years ago, lost 46 kilos I'd put on over the years and never looked back. Just switched to the new pro points and get all I need from a local meeting when I go to the Uk. They are good enough to just let us in to shop......so new scales, books and food, calculator etc..... If you follow it here just make sure you don't mix the point and new pro points food up if you buy any of their food products. Doesn't work out the same now. So some things they are still selling saying 3 points are now 5 on the new system. I knew all the old points by heart but now relearning them all, also the iPhone app updated if you have it when the system changed......so a very handy thing when out shopping. Forever checking things up. Good Luck. edited by Solo on 22/08/2011 edited by Solo on 22/08/2011

Hi, no, never been on sale in Dubai. Like others have always subscribed and had it delivered each month by post, never failed to arrive yet over the years.

I also agree. Went through it twice with two sets of twins and just because one is ready, it certainly doesnt mean his or her twin is. If you push it, the longer it will take and the more it will frighten her into not wanting to be out of her nappy at all. She will be ready in her own time, even if it isnt at the same stage as her sister. Twins, however alike they are they still have a mind of their own and will progress as their own rates. Though seeing her sister praised might eventually have a knock on effect to want to try it too of her own accord. September is still like others say a long way off in the number of weeks before they are to start nursery, and you shoudn't feel pressure due to the nursery rule of completely dry to rush them. You will all get there soon enough.

Huge congratulations on the arrival of your babies! Praise once again too, to Al Wasl who also delivered my two sets of premature twins......(quite a number of years ago now.....) but still hold fast in my mind as the place to go. I thought of joining the twins club on line too, as was a member of the original TTOM (twins, triplets or more) group a long time ago here in Dubai. But see people posting 1st birthday celebrations and delivery dates.....and our youngest twins turned 16 today, and the older two nearly 19!!!!

Top floor in the center. If you look up from the ground floor when near Debenhams and Harvey Nichols you will see it where the escalators go up. Had boards round it for ages so not obvious if you haven't looked up there.

Shopping in Abal Hassans, worrying your Cadburys chocolate would be taken off you at customs, along with you M&S clothes, even though labels had been cut out...... Buying the latest 'tapes' in Satwa and going to Anabelles, pancho villas, 221 B Baker Street and Lucifers on a weekend. Taking forever to get to school on the bus on a morning..... passing millions of fish on the way lead out drying on the desert on the way in. The Iranian hospital road (al Wasl) is still the Iranian hospital road to me, Defence Roundabout will always be a landmark and we were just talking about good old Bobbi Batista the other day with her unfortunate eyes on 24 hr CNN reporting the Gulf War and running out counting back the planes each night in the garden when they would announce how many were safely returning after war operations to their 'secret' airbase in Dubai. I could go on and on...... Much better! edited by Solo on 27/04/2011

I have a dhs10 coin from many, many years ago we got in change. Remember having it in my purse for years and many refused it as had never seen one at the tills in various shops, though didnt try too often as only had the one not a jar full. So been in a drawer somewhere now for probably a few decades.

Think you might be talking about an umbrella gadget I also bought for my beach umbrellas. Screws into the sand and umbrellas screw into it or fishing rods (as have a sleeve insert in them too)...etc...... Got two black ones a few months ago in Lulu's al Barsha by the camping/fishing things. At the time they only had four in......two blak ones and two bright orange ones. Thought after getting two spare would of been good as got the black, as were only Dhs 10 each!!!!! Check weekly to see if more have been re stocked so will post if I see any when I go. They are very handy and saves chasing your umbrellas down the beach when they take flight in the wind. edited by Solo on 09/04/2011

No other way to go for a safe ride with all babies and children properly seated and belted in, in your car/minivan I'm afraid. I had two sets of twins born at Al Wasl Hosptlal, the first seven weeks perm' and the second set were born three weeks early when the first set were just two years old. Excellent care! My husband was allowed at the birth of the first without question and even stayed over with me, though a British midwife at the time in charge..... The second two were emergency c section so a whole different matter. Going out meant military planning with four under two. But now all teens, they still seem to still fill up the cars just not bags of nappies and bottles and push chairs......but sports kit and school bags!!!!! Some things never change even as they grow!!!!
