Thank you very much for your advice, i really appreciate it. Went to the dentist last week actually for a check up and all was ok so that's good. Il just try and relax and go with the flow then :) I'm not too sure about here, but often tests aren't recommended until you have been trying unsuccessfully for some time. Before I started trying I did get my own blood tested to check my vaccinations were up to date and that hormone levels etc were all okay, and I started a prenatal vitamin. You should also go to the dentist and make sure your teeth are all okay, as some dental treatment during pregnancy can be difficult. Honestly, just have fun and relax. I have been in your shoes and was super anxious and just assumed we would have lots of trouble. There was no existing medical conditions - I just thought we would. Turned out it wasn't so hard after all ;) If you have trouble at first (and many people do) a conversation with a doctor will help point you in the direction of the best tests to do. Keep in mind, there will be more than enough trips to the doctor to last you a lifetime during pregnancy - don't add to it unnecessarily! Best of luck.

Hi, My fiancé and i just booked to go for our honeymoon. My sister also went for her anniversary. After much advice from a lot of people that have been we decided to split the stay into 2 hotels, 2 nights in each. 1. Kurumba http://www.kurumba.com This was the first original island of the Maldives and still stands as one of the most popular, its a 10 min speed boat from the airport, we chose the beachfront deluxe bungalow. 2. Lilybeach http://www.lilybeachmaldives.com/deluxewatervilla.html If you check the hotel comparison sites ul see this is def at the top of the list to stay in the maldives, this requires a sea plane to be taken from the airport as it a little further out. We chose to stay in the water villa for this one. I'm not sure what your budget is but as its our honeymoon of course we went all out and chose 2 different resorts with different accommodation, this maybe an option also if your finding it hard to agree on one resort. If i can give one bit of advice it would be to go all inclusive, its def worth it as everything costs a fortune there. Years ago this wasn't an option in hardly any of the resorts apart from 2 or 3 but luckily for us now it is and it will save you a lot of money!! Anymore info you need just let me know :)

Regardless if it's while driving, the point im making is that there are alot more dangerous things going on on the roads than women applying there lipstick for 2 seconds! Another perfect example below being the amount of children flying around in the back with no seat belt standing on the seats, or mothers holding there new born baby in the front seat!!!!! GET A GRIP DUBAI!!

And of course drivers flying down SZR going bumper to bumper with cars at 200kph aren't dangerous or a threat to other road users at all! nor the countless drivers that are in the middle lane going so slow they may as well be going backwards! Or the thousands of drivers chatting away on their mobile or having their heads down texting away! But let's penalise all those dangerous women applying lipstick at a red light for all of what 3 seconds! Pls get a grip, 12 points for that but 4 points while on your mobile!!!!

I am in desperate need of help. So far i have had 4 quotes for wedding invitations here in Dubai, we are not in any need of anything fancy or over complicated but call me crazy if im wrong that 5,000dhs for 120 invites is a joke!! Ordering online is not an option as we need to see a physical sample of what were ordering. Any recommendations are much appreciated!! we literally have 4 weeks to get these out to everyone. On another note im searching for a hair/make up artist for my big day, a few people ive found here are already booked or asking 2000+ just for the brides make up let alone the bridal party.

I've ordered from ASOS a few times and always choose the standard free delivery and got it delivered to my work. The shipment landed in Dubai after a few days BUT it wasnt until i tracked the shipment on ASOS website that i saw it had been sitting at the Dubai hub for a week pending customs clearence, i needed to send my ID and pay 200 dhs. This has happened every time. I suggest to avoid ordering over the value of 1000dhs that way you wont have to pay anything.

I'm on the hunt for a headpiece to wear on my wedding day. Not a veil as it doesn't go with my dress, just a pretty vintage style headpiece would be perfect. I've searched the big stores like Contessa, Bridal Showroom etc with no luck so im hoping i may find in a little boutique that just specialised in headpieces maybe?? But WHERE??? Also in need of SHOES - annoyingly my fiance isnt that much taller than me so in need of pretty flats :/ Any suggestions would be appreciated ladies :)

I really like Royal Brunei, fly with them regularly to London. Personally do not like the BA experience so havn't used them in years! i rarely fly Emirates because they are so expensive, so other than RB i would highly recommend Qatar airways, they are just as good if not better than Emirates, even had a free upgrade with them to Business. Also i just flew from Maktoum airport to Barcelona and the airport was fantastic, so quiet and such a hassle free check in. If your in the Marina/JLT/greens area its no further than DXB.

Hi All, As a child i was lucky enough not to have braces, unlike what seemed like 80% of children in my early teens did, although due to diffeeent circumstances i am going to need them now. Due wisdom teeth cutting through on my bottom row the past few years, it has forced my middle tooth to move back considerably. Unfortunatly its very noticable when i talk and its really starting to bother me. I am getting married in november so would like to start some sort of treatment asap. i'm not expecting a quick fix but depending on the treatment it could be a little less visable by november. I have heard of a few things that work for this problem such as.......... the Invisalign or lingual braces. If anyone can recommend where i can go in Dubai i would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! :)

I also held my sisters baby shower at Gary Rhodes in GH2 (Grosvenor house, Marina), really chilled, nice big area for 15 of us but i know they can accomodate more, great service but i think around 150 per head. They serve you afternoon tea, sandwiches, scones, cakes etc, and i managed to arrange it pretty last minute as a surprise :) edited by sophia87 on 02/06/2014
