Yeah, correct - closes around 12.45 pm and opens around 4.15 pm. The restaurants are open all day through.

It reached 55degs in the summer of 2010 and there are predictions of it reaching 60 degs this year which I can believe seeing the measly winter that we got. I was sweating yesterday when I was out in the open at around 2 pm in the afternoon. God Help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, No official lunch break, but if any one decides to go for his prayers at around 11.30am and onwards - there are no objections from any quarters. So it would be best for you to catch the officials at around 8.30 - 9 am to be on the safe side.

Some one who is not very good in English but is honest, clean, and does a very good job of taking care of the house and one baby of less than a yr old is able to charge Qr 2000/- per month for 6.30 am to 2.30 pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
