Don't want to split hairs, but EU (Schengen) do not get a 90 Day Visa upon arrival. They don't need any visa (not even issued upon arrival) and can stay 90 days in any 180 day Period. Thats why a visa run after the 90 days is not possible anymore. (as you need to wait another 90 days to be able to enter again) @camvic: just thinking if that might be the issue with your mother. Maybe she already stayed a total of 90 days (or a bit less) in the last 180 days? It accumulates all stays within the 180 day period. So maybe thats the reason she was issued a 96 hours one, that need to be converted into a "real" visa because in total it will be more than 90 days within 180. Reason for that change is that recently Schengen states have allowed entry without visa for UAE nationals as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_policy_of_the_United_Arab_Emirates#Visa-free http://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/press/press-releases/2015/05/06-eu-signs-visa-waiver-agreement-united-arab-emirates/ We recently applied for a 90 day Visit Visa for a family member (Russian Citizen) through a travel agency and it was very painless, got issued within 2-3 days.

Hi there. Your question is quite hard to answer, as even the definition of "medium quality lifestyle" differs greatly among people. What one considers medium, the other one might see as luxury and vice versa. Looking at your package, I hope that you are aware that you need to bring some (lots) of money in order to afford your internship here, right? What you definitely need is - transportation (Dubai is not a "walkable" city - you need Taxis or Metro to go to places) - communication (Mobile phone plans are not cheap here, and Whatsapp, Viber calls etc. only work if you know how to outsmart the system here technically) - Food when you are not working - Entertainment - unless you plan on sitting in your apartment only on your days off. 500AED is 121EUR. Considering that Dubai is at least 20-40% more expensive than Portugal, how far would 90 EUR get you in your home country? As I said - hard to compare. But if I where you, I would bring 1.500-2.000EUR per month to afford living here. Good Luck!

Hi, We just arrived in Dubai only to find out that the Airline damaged our Bagaboo stroller. The right hand attach mechanism of the canopy is lost, so we cannot use that. Do you know any shops here that would have a spare part available?

Thanks yes. It's been a great Help. Does the medical center you recommended also offer fast/vip Tests? We would really like to speed things up. Btw- entry visa just arrived, 3 hours after we entered the country. :)

Thank you for your insight! For the Hatta Visa Run, do you need to Enter Omani Territory (as in handing over PP to the Omani control) Or is it enough if you Exit the UAE and turn around right away?
