Hi, Has anyone seen a purple Maxi Micro scooter on their travels. I've tried all the Toys R Us branches but they only have them in pink, orange and black. I'm trying to find one for my daughter's 5th birthday pressie as she's grown out of her first Micro scooter. Thanks I was in Toys'R'us in Time square today around 2pm and they had 3!! Purple Maxis on the shelves and 1 display on the floor. KidzInc. in Al Qouz has them as well

I don't think they need the English to communicate with the dogs but rather with the owners. Also the trainings and first aid courses are all provided in English.

You might want to read where one of the brothers received his degree and watch the video on the website and listen to his not American accent before you make such comments. she did not say the doctor was american, she said the website makes you think their business model is like those american money making weight loss plots. They're in Dubai and call themselves "the wellness brothers". I can't seem to find too much information on them online, but I remember hearing them on a radio show few months back. Does any of you Ladies know where Dr. Ryan and Sean Penny went? They used to be at the Duabi Treatment & Herbal Centre but left last year. I am really at the point where i need help from a clinical nutritionist and dietitian and have heared excellent reviews about the two brothers. If they are no longer in Dubai can someone recommend a great nutritionist for a hopless case like mine? Much appreciated

Personally, I would NEVER fly BA ever again, regardless of price! I couldn't agree MORE!!! You could look at Virgin. They have great value for money, direct flight to Heathrow and are miles better than BA. <em>edited by starfishalicja on 21/08/2011</em>

Second Pet Connection I have two large Boxers (girl & boy) and always take them to Dr. Doreen @ Pet Connection. She takes all the time needed to figure out what's wrong and what can be done. Hope your canine baby will be fine :)

Ladies, I'm trawling the internet to find unlined knee high boots for my daughter (4 years size Euro29/US12) The boots i'm looking for are like riding boots, flat, black leather with a zip on the side or back of the shaft. I can find a vast selection for women but nothing for young girls :( Any ideas where to look would be great :)

@ BMAP I live in Victory Heights and my DD is in The Children's Garden in Green Community. I work in Media City(next to Internet City) I do the drive almost every day School--&gt;Work--&gt;School--&gt;Home it takes me 35 minutes total one way including taking DD into her classroom and putting sunscreen on ( she won't let me do it at home) On the day DH takes her to school i go straight to work and it takes me 15min max from home to my bum in chair in the office. The villas are fantastic and new with great gardens and you get sooo much more for your money than in Lakes/Meadows( like fully equipped kitchens and laundry room with excellent appliences for example).

The Address Sat brunch is really nice at the marina but I have a feeling they are not doing it any more - check cos it was really good. Saturday brunch is still on. It's the Friday brunch that has been moved to an afternoon/evening event.

In terms of Victory Heights, I thought the area was really lovely, the houses seemed really nice. Only down sides I could see were the fact that 1. the community pool is not up and running yet 2. think they are with Emicool so more expensive than a house with just dew 3. I found the access road a bit difficult, as its not all finished yet, but when it is finished it will be fine. Luckily no Emicool in VH ;)

The sports shop in Marina Mall next to Favourite Things has them as well. Specialized brand which is also very good quality and not as expensive as Kouka from Wolfi's.

you can try Speedex (same as ACE they are hardware store), there are adjacent to oaasis mall. Another place would be the gardenr shops in satwa after iranian hospital Hi Zeynab, is speedex inside oasis mall?? I've been there many times but not aware of a hardware store.

I am getting mine off in 2 weeks yay !!! had them done at Nicolas & Asp Orthodontic University in Health care city. I paid 4,500 for ceramic top plus permanent retainer. Brilliant job, super happy. top + bottom is 8K ish plus retainers. http://www.nicolasandasp.com/dentalcoll.html It's a huge difference to 27K you should give it a go. Plus Dentist & Hygenist are free during treatment.

thanks for all your replies ladies. It looks like Volvo has lots of good features. However, I am not quite sure about the resale value. Also, I find it kind of expensive. Does anyone know about the services (every 5K or 10K km?) Service is every 10K. My first 60K were free but I don't know how it is now, depends on the deal. Volvo does retain value pretty well maybe not the best retention out there but definitely not bad either.

marblesxx & starfishalicja, Is a Tiguan/Volvo XC60 big enough for 3 adults, car seat+ baby with baby stroller and grocery shopping at the back? Also, from your experience, is the VW/Volvo dealership good and reliable (sales, customer service, etc)? Thanks Speaking for the Volvo I would say yes but with no space to spare in the boot, You can get one more passenger in the back though. What you're discribing I'd go for the XC90 though especially as you can get them as 7 seater with perfectly flush folding seats in the very back for when they're not needed. Service in my eyes is great, quick and efficient (which you don't find here very often). Can't comment on VW, sorry HTH

If you are looking for safety and comfort go for a Volvo! In terms of safty there is NO comparison. I've been driving my XC90 for 2,5 years and absolutly love it wouldn't drive anything else with my DD and pup :). You can get 3 car seats in the back without any problem. (for those playdate outings :) ) The XC60 is the smaller version if the XC90 is too big.

When do you need them by? I used to do origami flowers as a hobby, was somewhat obsessed with it!! If you could locate origami paper for me I may be able to do them for you. No, its not like that one Green-ish, that's a solid plastic castle. Maybe you attached the wrong attachment? So, I've failed, grandaughter is 2 today and I couldn't find a small trampoline anywhere. The 10' ones are very high off the ground and much, much too large for a toddler. Can't believe Early Learning Centre have them in their catalogues, but not one in Dubai. It's not too late yet the day has only just started :) GEANT has 6' trampolines. They have a kangaroo on the jumping area. They open at 9:30 in IBN Batutta mall. Also The ToyStore in Batutta has 6' trampolines. Both deliver :) Good Luck :)

6 dogs were adopted early morning from municipality today. I will put a new update of available dogs for adoption within the day. Thank you to all ladies who look to adopt and save a dog's life instead of buying from expensive pet shops. Hi JS, How can DM play ping pong with the same guy over and over again is beyond me even after being here for many years :( My friend has taken one of the labs and I'm glad to hear the other 5 have gotten out too. I still am looking for an other dog but am looking for a larger breed as my one is very active and 'bored' by small dogs she can't tug & war with. Please keep me in mind :)

I wanted to take the Rottie home today even though the DM wanted an ridiculous 1000 dirhams to release her. I was all excited to find a companion to our dog and rescue a dog from irresponsible hands at the same time. Just to find out late yesterday evening that DM sent the two BACK to their owner :( :( :(

Hi there, The complex opens at 2 pm but a lot of the shops inside don't get into gear for at least an hour. I never go there before 3 pm on a friday after I ended up waiting 45mins in front of a shop I needed to exchange something at.
