I went to visit people in the country in Canada and we were confronted by the 2 biggest dogs I had ever seen in my life. I had never seen a Great Dane and I seriously thought these were very odd horses and why the heck were they loose lol. They trotted toward us and I got back in the car lol. I am 5feet tall..their heads were as tall if not taller so I am sure you can understand my reluctance to meet these 2 on their level. Anyway, they were big babies but huge.....lovely dogs but my god it must cost alot to feed them since they dont eat hay lol

Hi fj, just heard back from someone at FF and she said they are so short of funds that if it is possible for you to take care of it that might be the only way at the moment. FF has had a wicked summer with cats and dwindling funds that they need to fill their coffers. If it is a problem please let me know and I can arrange something.

you might want to do a few posters in the compound. He could be living off someones tuna and quite content to stay for the minute lol...look around the bins to find the ones with food left for strays and also ask if anyone is feeding strays or even a colony.

nope, not yet. He is on Dubizzle, posters on street in area and close vets offices and of course here. Does not look like anyone is looking. He might have been on the street for a bit so maybe they stopped...who knows. He is mad at me today. He was neutered yesterday lol

I have had loads of foster cats pass through my house plus my own and so far have not picked up any worms....but it certainly will not hurt you if you do :)...once they know what worms the kitten has. She will pass the worms quickly and kill the active ones now, it does not kill the eggs so another course will be had within 2 weeks and possibly another. the ones she passes in the next day or so will be dead from the pills....anyway, talk to you vet about it. I honestly have never isolated any of the cats with worms after the 1st kill..... btw, ring worm is a skin fungus not actual worms. Have the vet do a black light scan.

this is the 3rd time I have asked this question. I will ask in a different way then :)...how many people have you got working the labour camps with posters. Reason is, you said he was headed toward a labour camp. These men will pass the word if they see him...they need a picture. So, has anyone bothered to canvas the labour camp? So far, I am understanding that no one has put on the desert boots and hit the camps looking for this dog??? helloooo

now, to make things interesting, look up Tabataprotocol.com the original study and results. I use it, and it works..I do mine on the treadmill rather than the bike but it could be adapted to the elliptical as I am in the process at the moment :)..I have a lung problem and my lung capacity increases measurabley when I use it faithfully...so, your aerobic capacity will increase, metab will increase and you will notice a difference within 2 weeks..but... like everything, ya gotta do it lol.

sounds like tapeworm but the vet will confirm. The worms dry up quickly outside the body and the eggs will open. If the house is flea free just vac and clean well. Wash your hand after handling the cat. Well, you should do that anyway :) a dewormer from the vet act quickly so keep her litter clean and after a day or so, clean the whole thing, change to completely clean litter. All will be fine :)..no need to panic

why would you pay extra for a job you are already paying for? My gardener does gardening duties, which include planting, weeding, changing pots, cleaning up, watering etc...unless he calls himself a yard man then that is different. So, no, you hired a gardener so he gardens :)

flying goggles can be swim goggles, they look the same(well, similiar and a good substitute). The helmet is like a wool winter hat without the tasels but always in leather and with a button closure or snap, not a tie :)....I have my dads dads :)....you cant have them as they are in Canada lol...and white silk scarfe around the neck. and a leather waiste jacket with a lambs wool collar...and baggy pants with lace up black boots....there you go. edited by SueB on 28/10/2011 edited by SueB on 28/10/2011

in Al Bada'a - Rulers villas of 24 near Al Satwa and 57th st. Lightish grey with silver. Vet figures over a year but not sure of age. Intact and no chip. Not matted for the most part but skinny. Pretty healthy but the vet figures he has been on the road a while or someone is caring for him but not givin enough food. He is lovely but afraid. Going in the neutering on Saturday. If you might know who he belongs to in this area please let me know. thanks.

Yes it's normal. Freelance or not. You pay for dance classes in advance, you pay your school fees in advance and so on so if you are going to book a teachers time then you must reserve that time in advance so she has a schedule :)...this way you have a committment to her, and she has one to you :)

I know of a gal who has excellent references and needs a new sponsor within 2 weeks. The fly in the ointment though is that she is married and they are looking for accommodation together. She has worked for a friend for about 6 years I think (she is in her late 40's I believe). Let me know and I will pass on the info. edited by SueB on 25/10/2011

You can buy pure Neem at the garden centers on Plant street. Not sure which ones, you will have to ask but I think it is Exotic Gardens...anyway, call around the large gardens to see if they sell it.

seems like you have help :). It will be pretty hard for you to care for the little mite unless you are home so possibly Kristina can add him to her brood eventually. Once he is steady on his feet he can joint her 5 :)...they should accept him quickly and he will have other kittens to teach him manners :)...good luck.

DD, enjoy planning your return. Unfortunate that you have had such a bad time. We are opposite fortunately, been here for nearly 9 years and seem to get more attached every year..although we are now on the downward slide to retiring :)....I certainly understand where you are coming from....hopefully home will be all you remember :)

amelia, I have to assume that, before you posted here about the problem, you contacted EW directly to let them know there was a problem. They would find out and fix it quickly I am sure. Posting here before informing EW is kind of horse out of the barn before the door is closed etc.... You are curious to know what is happened? I am sure someone from EW will get back to you asap and as soon as you know hopefully you will share the information.

I had one removed 30 years ago on my wrist. It grew back eventually about 12 years ago. As said below, it comes and goes, sometimes hurts, most times does not...sometimes big, most times cant see it :). It all depends on what you are doing. Pushups or leaning on that wrist or keeping it bent, hurts...anyway, if it isnt broke, dont fix it lol...the ones in feet all depends where they are. A bit trickier I would think. Oh, and dont whack it with a book, that only hurts, alot and does nothing :)
