I used few times the following recipe and have good results... Butter Poached Lobster with Fresh Tomatoes Servings: Serves 2 as a main course or 4 as a starter. Prep Time:5 minutes Cook Time:20 minutes I recommend using salted butter, which is all the salt that's needed to flavor the dish. If you're using unsalted butter, you might want to season with a bit of salt while cooking the tomatoes. An important tip is to make sure the butter mixture does not come to a boil - keep the heat low so that the butter emulsifies (turns into a nice, smooth creamy sauce) instead of breaking up Ingredients: 1 3/4 pound live lobster (or 2 uncooked lobster tails) 1 tablespoon water 1/2 cup salted butter (1 stick), cut into 1 tablespoon chunks 1 clove garlic, very finely minced 2 tomatoes, cut into large chunks 3 fresh basil leaves, chiffonade Directions: 1. **If you are using lobster tails: Use sharp kitchen shears to cut shell of lobster all the way down its back. Turn over and cut bottom shell all the way down. Peel off shell and remove meat. Continue with step 2. **If using live whole lobster - bring a large pot of water to boil. Turn off heat and add the lobster. Cover with lid and let cook for 3 minutes. Remove all lobster meat from shell and cut into large chunks. 2. In a sauce pan, bring 1 tablespoon of water to simmer over medium-low heat. Whisk in 1 piece of butter. When butter had melted, add another piece. Continue with remaining butter pieces, one at a time. Make sure the mixture does NOT come to a boil, otherwise the butter will separate. 3. Keeping the heat on medium-low, add the lobster pieces and cook for 5 minutes, turning the lobster pieces every minute or so. Make sure mixture does not boil. Remove lobster pieces and divide amongst the 2 serving bowls. 4. In the same saucepan with the remaining butter, turn the heat up just a bit, add the garlic. When fragrant, add the tomatoes and cook for just a couple of minutes until the tomatoes have released some of the juices. I like to gently smash the tomatoes a bit so more juice comes out. Throw in the basil and you're done. Spoon tomatoes over lobster and serve immediately. looks great will try the same. I have whole lobster. thanks Dear

I have done the trip many times and always take my visitors there - 100% up on the east coast version. Last time was twelve months ago. It is very expensive now because they have increased the entry and exit fees at the border. That is where most of the money will go - visa fees, entry and exit fees. It is a great day, well worth the trip and costs. The drive up from RAK to Khasab is spectacular to say the very least. An alternative is to drive yourself and stay overnight at the Golden Tulip, a very nice hotel built out over a headland - fabulous views. You can book this online. you cant miss the hotel as you drive straight past it into Khasab. You can get pickup and drop off from hotel. Beware: if your guests are from South Africa and maybe Canada, you should check, their visa does not permit re-entry so you cannot go there. Your only option in this case is the the East coast trip which is, after Khasab, extremely disappointing - area, lack of dolphins, boat, food, etc. The Khasab trip, the guides on the boats give lots of information about the region, it's geography and history and the local people, dhows are clean and comfortable, food is great, swimming is lovely and you always see dolphins. The guides are also mostly local. East coast, they are all expat guides, mostly from India, so don't know much about the area or its history or people, food was horrible. Oh it means last Friday we were on the EAST coast :( hmm. that's why we were thinking why people like Khasab so much? yes it is HORRIBLE. it is difficult to find good food. we went to one restaurant in Al Maha petrol station & the food was.... yuck!!! on the boat they serve only Banana, apple, water & cold drinks. will never go again :\:

I had this problem near Garhoud. I called to my insurance company but in the meanwhile 2 -3 people tried to change the tyre but no luck. first they don't know jacking points (cause they don't know much about 4x4). Finally AAA guy came & finished the job. Thanks to my insurance & AAA. :) edited by sunlight on 05/09/2012

Nothing illegal about it. But if the topics are somehow against UAE/Islam/local culture/etc., you would run the risk of the site being blocked. Other than that, you'll be fine. And if she encourages the ads (obviously fees/charges are involved) on her website will also be fine? What do you mean fees and charges? Is she running an online business? no no. if she gets some sponsors & they want to put their ads just like EW.

This shows reviews for the G2. Mixed reviews. I used to have a carpet cleaner and loved it but the battery life was limited. I have now bought one for hard floors only from Lakeland and it is fantastic. It was expensive in comparison though. http://www.amazon.com/Swivel-Cordless-Floor-Carpet-Sweeper/dp/B002GUH8DY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340867253&sr=8-1&keywords=swivel+sweeper+g3 thanks MirdifIngrid, which one you are using & how much?

Hi sunlight. Since I dont eat red meat, have a low protein diet and lost a lot of lean muscle due to illness / stress etc, [i'>and [/i'>I never know what to eat for breakfast, [i'>and[/i'> tended to eat to many carby-type foods which made me slump late mornings; I was advised to eat a high quality protein shake for breakfast and it does keep me very full and satisfied. I needed the essential amino acids required to build muscle and keep bones healthy. I am allergic to casein. My favourite top draw product is a vegetarian version which is called KetoSlim but I cant get it here and they wont ship to UAE :-( That had a very high nutrition and protein content which supplemented my diet well. The ingredients on my Blue Bonnet box says "Undenatured whey protein isolate; natural vanilla flavour and stevia" hi hilsbils, it means I can not use. I am already a little fatty.

Whey Protein can technically be used by anyone, unless they have a dairy allergy. 100% whey protein is going to usually be a mixture of whey protein concentrate, a little whey protein isolate, and flavoring, sweetener, and binders such as xanthan gum. Occasionally you will see a bit of maltrodextrin added to vanilla varieties (so hard to formulate without due to caking) as well as coca processed with alkali--same reason. Whey Protein Isolate is absorbed a little faster than concentrate (Isopure--good example) and has slightly higher biological value than the concentrate/isolate mix. That is the only real benefit of an isolate over a concentrate/isolate mixture, aside from 2% more biological value per scoop. (you get 26g protein as opposed to 24g) regarding microfiltration, frankly, almost all whey proteins are! some are CFM (ceramic microfiltration) or hydrosolated isolates, and it is all about marketing. Every year someone swears they have the latest and greatest form. But the bottom line is this. There are about 3 major private labelers for protein in the US, and they service ALL brands. Hundreds of them! Glanbia is probably my top pick for quality, and they are like the Estee Lauder of whey protein manufacturers--they own just about every company you see on the shelf whether it is 'natural' or sports related. If you have slight sensitivity to dairy, then whey protein isolate is the best bet of all the blends. Avoid any blends with concentrate, sodium caseinate or casein. Don't buy into the ridiculousness that whey protein is for serious muscle building only--anyone can use this as an addition to your daily regimen. I could go on and on :) edited by Beebers on 06/06/2012 thanks Beebers :)

Pakistani bridal suits, you won't find at Jamal Abdul Nasser, only arabic dresses. Sahib in the cloth market behind sharjah cinema has Bridal Outfits, and there are lots of other shops in the same market....with lots of outfits that you will probably need. There are jewellery (artificial bridal sets) shops there as well with the most gorgeous 'kundan' jewellery.... for Pakistani/traditional bridal make up - your best options would be: Ghazala Mir(on facebook) - more 'Karachi' looking make-up Ghazala of Alle Nora - more 'Lahore' touch... (if you're from pakistan u'll understand) Personally I love both for different reasons... :) happy to explain/give you the contacts just drop me your email.... take care... thanks Mahwish, you may contact my friend at. pls letme know I will delete her address. she is basically from Karachi. ETA: I think both Ghazala are same Ghazala of Alle Nora & Ghazala Mir. edited by sunlight on 05/06/2012 edited by sunlight on 05/06/2012 edited by sunlight on 05/06/2012

I personally am not a fan of beetroot but if you mix with lemon it helps. Good luck with your weight loss. Have lost 20 kg in the past 12 months and feel a new woman. Little by little is the answer and losses soon mount up, otherwise you may end up with very saggy skin!! sorry to the OP to hijack the thread. jellymum, I also want to reduce my weight. Hi Sunlight, the previous thread has been closed, which is why you can't post anymore. There were books and internet articles posted. The best you can do for your friend and her family is educate them on the subject, and really have her talk to a doctor about the Alzheimer's. And please educate yourself as well, so you can support your friend. She will be witnessing her mom slip away from her, that is very hard to see and she will need someone to talk to. Take care. thanks Dear, will do the same.

Its not contagious and there is no cure. It's a horrible, cruel, dispicable disease. My sympathies go out to your friend. She could be in for a very tough ride. We watched my grandfather suffer this for many years until he finally succumbed. Honestly, in the end it was a blessing. There are drugs that are meant to slow the progression if given in the early stages. This is so so sad. I pray this disease never touches my family again. Its heartbreaking to see them physically fit, but mentally gone (or going, over many years). Best of luck to your friend. thanks CM

I think OP means to say 'is it GENETIC?' Or, at least I hope that is what she is trying to say! (OP 'contagious' means can you catch it if you come in contact with the person (ie touch their hands or share a drink), GENETIC means that it is more likely for a child of someone who has it that they will get it too)... I believe it can be traced to the family, but you won't nececssarily get it just because a relative has it. I also believe there is no prevention. thanks for your kind words. yes if it is genetic then ok but if it is contagious (if we are in contact with them) @suze63 pls I am serious :(
