denshorty thanks for the details. Hope it will be easy for us. We booked Marriott Maida Vale. Is there any special clothing like rain coat will be required or no. Can I get a wheel chair over there or no. My 3rd one has some special needs and cannot walk too much.

Aww I can't believe this looks simple to make compared to the ones I have been googling! Definitely making this as soon as possible! Thanks for sharing! :D Not only simple but delicious too. My family is really fond of this recipe since it is posted by Ginnee in 2013. ( Ahh after a long time I am posting due to very busy schedule but cannot resist to post for this thread) Love you Ginnee

Three times a week is a lot to be washing your hair.... Perhaps just rinse it with conditioner. Also i would invest in really good shampoo - i find Kevin Murphy amazing and the Born Again deep conditioner awesome on hair.... it literally repaired my split ends./ thanks Izzy, I have sent these details to her. :)

Wash your hairless, use very good conditioner and stop using a hair dryer Also use a sun barrier. Thanks Izzy, she washed her hair 3 times in a week. she is wearing hijab so less sun damag. It is because of salt in water. Cowboy thanks for the recommendation.

I am on my second Pajero. The first one was a 4 cylinder, and the newest (LOL) one (2008) is a 6 cylinder. I do prefer the 6 cylinder. Other than regular maintenance, it still runs well and looks great. The air conditioning system is very good. I had seriously looked at the Land Cruisers and other similar when replacing the first Pajero but, at the end, went for another Pajero. I never really paid attention to how many miles per gallon in a very long time, but I can tell you that it takes approximately 130 Dhs. to fill up an empty tank. Hope this helps. thanks to all :) will go for a Pajero.

Just as an aside to this thread. Do you guys ever check the official crash test ratings before you buy a car, especially out here. My DH usually handles that department and he is pro-Pajero.....anything we should know?? No not really as they have got better since 2013. :)

Buying a new car & range is upto 120,000. I was thinking to buy Pajero2014 full option 3.5L & price is reasonable 116,000. I need some reviews for the car. I need a big car. 3.5L is the bigger one, engine, correct? You'd want the bigger engine. I think it is a great vehicle. Several people I know have them, and I would like to buy one, myself! I will be looking for a pre-owned late model Pajero later this year. I've seen a ton with really low mileage in excellent condition online. Yes Beeber, and its interior is also very spacious.but i heard it is gulping the petrol.

Happy summer days to you all. We are leaving Dubai in a couple of weeks for good. All ducks were in a row, super organised we were...that was until yesterday. We have had the commitment for three months from a friend/colleague to purchase our 16 month old car from us on our departure. We were informed yesterday they no longer can purchase the car from us. Has anyone been in this situation? If we don't sell on Dubizzle ( ad went live last night) this month, can we leave the car with friends to sell on our behalf? What is the red tape on selling a vehicle once residency is cancelled? Any advice would be received with tremendous gratitude. can you give me your car details? Is it 4x4. my friend is looking for a 4x4. give me your email id, so I can ask my friend to contact you. edited by sunlight on 08/07/2014

What about her privacy? What about the fact that she needs a job and any job is better than no job and she wouldn't have any privacy if she went back to her home country anyways? And no one worried about my privacy when I was in the Army and bunked up with 49 other people. No one complained that my human rights were being violated ... Absolutely right I agree no boys says how some people treat them they even beat them often who so ever is talking abt the human rights don't they know last month I was reading in gulf news a maid was so badly burned her employer threw hot water she was admitted to hospital just because she didn't served her coffee don't really remember the whole story but here I'm giving her enough money to eat to sleep now if I am compromising with money can't they compromise on privacy after all they need to earn I think if u treat them on priority there demands are never going to finish they run away from there local sponser every other maid runs I bet I'd be more concerned about your kids having to have a stranger and all her stuff in their bedroom all the time... Fams80: she is right. you have to think abt ur kids. recently I hired a new maid and she is failed in Medical. she is suffering with TB (even though she emailed me her medical report before coming to UAE ) . Now her visa is cancelled and she is going back. don't keep any strangers/guests in your kids room.
