I need to lose some 3 to 4 kgs of weight... but that's not my worry...i can do it easily... it's my pot belly that's my biggest concern. I cannot do crunches and rigorous exercises because of my back problem. But I need to reduce this ever increasing bulge. HOW? I cannot wear beautiful clothes anymore :(

Well, I must say some of your are lucky that Dubizzle and EW classified worked for you. I have used both but nothing fruitful till date. I want to sell off my 3 seater sofa for just Dh500. People call just to waste time. I have given up hope of selling anything... my last resort will be going to the flea market :D BTW can someone tell me what and where can i find local notice boards?

I do not wear any make- up, not even a slight foundation cause my skin is too sensitive n immediately I get pimples. But after reading all the posts I believe I need to maintain a skin care routine. I eat healthy, so it's not my diet that's the problem. I guess I need to choose the products carefully.

I have 2 words for you - scrub and toner. My skin is fairly similar to what you describe. GINORMOUS pores! Ive been scrubbing with a gentle scrub 3 times a week and using a toner twice a day. Both meant for combination skin/purifying pores. Thats the only stuff I've changed and its made a huge difference to my skin. Maybe start with 1 scrub a week and work up to suit your skin so you dont over irritate all of a sudden. Keep at it and you'll see a difference in a few weeks. Other than that I use a moisturizer thats oil free and thoroughly clean my face at the end of the day. Also get a facial to purify skin as often as you can afford it. Thanks :) I will try to follow the 'scrub n toner' routine... But frankly scared of using moisturiser coz I end up with pimples... Also whenever I go for facial n clean-up I end up having bumps and rashes all over my face due to the poking n scrubbing :(. So I prefer doing it at home..

My husband had damaged our car when he bumped into a post. We didn't know the rules then, so we came back home n called the police. When the police arrived they said we should have stayed where the accident occurred. We took them back to the spot n they collaborated n verified our story. They fined us, gave a receipt and our car was repaired by the insurance company.

I was in need of some last year n had no clue where to get them. But guess what, I just walked into a small supermarket next to our building n asked if they have some. Readily they gave me few boxes n when I offered to pay they declined.... ;)... Try your luck :D

Lynett, I am new to EW, and the first post I read is yours. I do not want to say "I am sorry" because you do not need this. Enough of feeling sorry for yourself n being a victim. It's time you stand up for yourself. My question to u is WHY have you tolerated such a husband for so long? And reading your post doesn't look like u want to divorce him either. So again I want to ask is WHAT is it that u r gaining for yourself in this marriage? Self-humiliation, unsatisfied physical relationship, being hostage, financially dependent. U have given us an idea about your asset but first you need to make up ur mind about what u want to do with that asset. Divorce or stay in the marriage n continue ur life of humiliation. If u have understood the problem, I believe u will know what can be the solution. All u need is self belief. Good luck n be brave in all your decisions. Remember u will soon have a child to take care of.
