Well thank you so much ladies I will have a look at all the locations mentioned. Really appreciate the hints you gave me I totally agree I dont like to have the Masafi tissue advertisement in my rooms as design I rather have something simple but suiting my taste. I notices all tissueboxes in the shops are to small or have different dimensions then the tissues offered here in the shops so I have always to squeeze them in. I bought one tissue box at the arte and liked it but would like to have different designs for different rooms and I think I am capable to do the designs myself as i want to have for the bathroom for example a starfish painted....

I know I can get the sheds at carrefour in different sizes, I wonder where else I can look for cheaper optionns. The ones which carrefour has are from Duramax. If I check on Facebook most people sell the size 2,40x1.60 m I am looking more for , 1.60 x1.60 m or even better 1.60x0.80 Any Idea where to look or have an other idea where to buy sheds. TIA We've got the one which you can set up against the wall and has a door in the end. I think it's the 4x8ft model. It will be ready for collection in a couple of weeks AED500. How can I contact you? I tried to reply with my e mail which was deleted. I would like to see a foto

Well I learned not to buy too cheap if i am not rich enough, but recently I forgot this and suffer...:) I have some balcony furniture from Carrefour which wasn't too expensive. I washed the cushion covers at 20 degrees and they all shrinked and some even dissolved. Now the search starts to get some cushion covers made. Any hint? I know in Satwa and in Dragonmart are shops but would like a recommendation so i don't need to run from one shop to the next. I do not need anything fancy only simple covers ...

I am looking for a girls ( pink) Tshirt with a camel on it. I checked the cheap ones at the supermarket but couldn't find a pink one with a camel, then i checked one at a souvenir shop it costed 60 AED. Any idea where I can get one perhaps a bit cheaper then 60 AED. I know 60 isnt a lot but there is more to it why I would like to go the cheap road.

I bought a plastic wicker looking sofa set two years ago it was always outside but covered and under a shade and within a year it was damaged that it wasn't anymore to be used. When I went back and complaint they told me it should be the whole year outside, mmmmhh who has the luxury to have such a big storage and at the same time its outdoors furniture.

I bought special paint in ACE and a friend of mine painted it. Please wear a masque it is smelly! My bathroom is 5 sqm and i needed a pack. The tiles were dark terracotta so he had to paint twice. I would not do it in my own house.

What is the best to sell clothes? can I bring a clothesrailing? how easy is it to get the things in? Of course you want to make some money and of course recover the stall fee of 270 AED. I will keep on looking if they still do a sale in May. I have three huge boxes of books and 5 huge boxes of clothes and a box of shoes.

Dear all, we are couple of friends doing garage sales and the money goes into the welfare of street cats. We have three big boxes of books which arent getting sold during the garage sales as usually the maids by clothes. We would like to try at least to get a bit of money out of the books before we pass them on to other charities who are doing book sales. Do you know shops which take second hand books or any place, we dont mind to give the books away even we get only 3-5 AED out of it as for us every AED counts. TIA

I am looking to participate in a carboot sale in the near future. I know at Ibn Battuta Mall there is one but the fee to participate is 270 Aed, so have to sell lots to get this in. I did couple of garage sales this year to raise money for animals but I think the maids in my area have bought lots and will be short of money in the next weeks however have still lots to sell and need the money. Any suggestions where are carbootsales. How do I come to know which schools are having this? Lots of ladiesclothes to sell from 3-10 AED even branded things in best condition or even pricetag on will not be sold more.

I agree with Appletiser. The Nutribullet has been recommended on here a few times. You could get a juicing box delivered from Greenheart. Freshly made organic juice exactly when you want it and a LOT cheaper than some of the juicing programs I've seen here. http://www.greenheartuae.com/?page_id=584 Thanks Daza this boxes sound great! and not too expensive

Thanks for all your replies. I just looked up some delivery companies and a three day detox would cost around 1000AED, wow certainly a juicer/ Nutribulle is much cheaper. If i wouldn't be so lazy. Smoothies sound so much better then a juce

I got some foil in Satwa from the car shops, 30 % is really good as no one can look in the room even during the night but its very dark in the room. 20 % isn't bad. I tried also the mirror foil but the shop has only silver which means its like a proper mirror and you could apply make up in front of the window:) And if the sun shines on it it reflects badly and would have burned the grass in the garden I am still looking for some foil, I don't mind mirror but a more brownish one so the reflection isnt too bad. ( in case you have a recommendation, please let me know) The foil in Satwa is very good and very cheap

As I ask always so many questions I feel I should let you know where I got the things from. Yes ACE has some plain foils but I wanted something else There are some shops at Dragonmart who have foil Also a stationary shop in Satwa at the plant street who has a lot and same quality then ACE for a lot less money. And Al Maya supermarket in Satwa has foil that's very cheap but quality isn't the best.
