Yes if you bring your Emirates ID you get a cheaper rate - but if you book online, kids under 3 are free. We didn't know that so although the adult rate was cheaper at 185, we still paid 170 per kid but apparently if we had registered online in advance, they would have been free...
Also the queues are starting to get long over summer, so booking online would also save you queueing which is a bonus ;)
