I saw yesterday that Virgin in Mall of the Emirates have quite a lot of fitness DVD's now. Wasn't looking for Pilates so not sure if they have that but might be worth a look if you are in the area.

Apologies if the request was worded poorly. There was never any intention of going behind anyone's back and alerting the landlord to someone leaving. The hope was that my details would be passed along to a current tenant who was leaving, and, with their blessing, having our name mentioned to Nakheel that we wished to move in after them. Not knowing anyone in GVV this was a last ditch attempt as Nakheel have pretty much bluntly admitted this is the only way to get in. Thanks again.

Hi All, Just a quick, hopeful shout out to see if anyone is planning on moving out of, or knows anyone moving out of, the Garden View Villas (either 3- or 4-bed) in the next couple of months. Having been to Nakheel many times it is clear that regardless of how many years you have been on the "waiting list" the only way to get in is to bring the name to them of someone leaving and they will reserve the villa for you. Why are there a bunch of villas built, and they all look abandoned? Anyone know what happened or whats happening there?? We're thinking of moving out there but are a little concerned about it..... I know someone who has a lovely well looked after villa there free from mid Feb - 3 bed good views ............................. Hi Philly, Sorry to revive an old topic, but we have been trying to get into GVV for a while now (v. close to work) and it appears the only way to get in is to know someone leaving and have Nakheel "block" the villa for you. Our current rental contract is up soon after your friends are moving out so it would appear to be ideal for us. If they are still moving out, and someone else hasn't already "dibbsed" it, I would really appreciate it if you could contact me at --- t r a c y @ d e n a s t e r . c o m --- so we can go and harass Nakheel some more.
