Hi, I have managed to buy cartons of milk from cafes in departure lounge at Dubai airport, but if they didn't have any have gone to McDonalds and bought a happy meal and got the plain milk that goes with it . Don't rely on stewards to have some on the plane sometimes they do sometimes they don't . Hope that helps , always a worry if little ones don't settle on a long journey.

Hi there , I started suffering severe hair loss last summer (thought I was going through a shedding period) then I noticed a small round patch. I didn't do anything for a while until it got quite bad then went to see 2 different dermatologists who recommended some lotions one been regaine. To be truthful they just irritated my scalp and saw no results. Having googled the condition to death no-one can really pinpoint the trigger for hair loss. I lost the whole of my hair underneath from ear to ear, luckily my hair was long and thick and I was able to disguise it by wearing my hair in a low pony tail (wind was my worst enemy) I had tried many hair loss shampoos and conditioners and the only difference they made was in my purse! I went to a health shop and the lady suggested Biotin , this comes in different strengths. I take maximum 5000mcg . After one month hair started to grow and now I have no baldness and still take it daily. So for me Biotin was my saving grace ! Good luck x

hi Dan Lou yeah I remember you running the mother and toddler group at FC . The first operation as gone well but will be few more days before they will be able to assess her as they are reducing the drugs that are keeping her sedated. Thank you girls for all your prayers and kind words x

Thanks girls for all ur help! But have put plan B into action. At first they decided they didn't want to put out anyone and thought they would stay in an apartment, but after doing the sums they can well do without the financial burden especially as we don't know how long it will be for. So I have now persuaded them to stay with me for as long as they need ( I know Alison would do the same for me without a secong thought). Keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming x

Thank you girls . I have conntacted golden sands 10 and they only have 1 wk available from the 14th. I am still searching , things that are coming up seem very expensive .The only other alternative is if someone is away over the holiday period and would let the family stay, of course they would contribute finacially .

Have done a search but need step by step instructions of where to go and which one to get- DS is due more injections and thought it might be worth getting a health card to save a few dhs. Festival City and Mirdif area would be better but will travel. TIA

I have had the mirena and never had a problem with it .I used to have very heavy periods but not since the coil was fitted . Not going back to UK this summer so guess I will get it changed here. My Drs are London clinic but not sure if they do it there, does anyone know ???

wow didn't think it would cost that much! how did you manage to claim most ladies I have spoke to said you can't claim because it is classed as contraception. I got mine fitted in the UK so no ultra sound after, thanks for the info though.
