I am also looking for 2 leather sofa's. Want brand new. Willing to pay around 10K each so want reasonable quality. Looked in all furniture stores along SZR, also PAN and all stores in MOE. Liked some in Natuzzi but closer to 15K/20K each so too expensive. Liked one in Indigo but no stock! Please any more quality furniture stores out there???? Any such stores in Dubai Mall? Suze63 - Check out these: IKEA reasonable prices PAN but make sure real leather sofa, some sofas part leather and part fake leather Indigo (on SZR), light brown leather sofa half price at moment

Anyone heard of any summer deals yet in 5* Dubai hotels? Want to leave the kids at home for a night and have some romantic time with hubby so does not have to be kid friendly, prefer at beach (so 5 minute travelling time from house)

Used them before I got my full time maid. Every month I received an invoice. I used to put cash in envelope back to agency. Never did receive a receipt after that. I trusted my maid so assumed they received cash ok.

So it's worth the hassle getting this card and paying for it? (cost I think 300 dhs plus perhaps medical of 200 dhs..this is from government website so not sure how up-to-date this info is)

To update you on this, I've been down to Satwa clinic today for my maid to have her follow-up Hep B vaccination. I asked 3 people working there if the Health Card was still necessary, and the response was that it is now optional. If the maid gets sick, she needs to go to a government hospital and pay the charge, Health Card or not. Does anybody know if there is any benefit then in now getting a Health Card? bump I've got same question
