Took some beginner classes last year at home. Would love to become a intermediate crocheter, willing to pay for private lessons at a reasonable price.

I've been here over a month. Have found a great group of ladies. I still have my days where I cry all day.... but it does get better. Can't really help with realty or property as I'm so new also. Perhaps the boards in Spinney's? I think there are also sub-lets avail - http://abudhabi.dubizzle.com.

http://www.awnabudhabi.com - they are great. I went to my first meeting and they are all extremely welcoming!! I would also recommend getting their book "Living in Abu Dhabi", it has so much helpful and valuable information.
