Thanks mrsg - you really got me thinking....a lot!!! We'll look at the quotes but I think we may end up just air freighting the few possessions we really care about and starting afresh in the UK. Thank you for your advice. It really has made a big difference and may just have saved us from making a big, costly mistake. Off to whittle down the inventory...! ;)

Thanks mrsg. We are paying the bill and you've given me food for thought. We will be looking at buying a house in the UK but that will be a few months down the line. I hadn't planned on taking our huge fridge/freezer, and now you've got me thinking...!:cool: So, it's best to be ruthless?
