Hi - I understand that normally to maintain a valid UAE residence visa you cannot be outside the country longer than 6 months. I thought there were some exemptions to this rule, such as students, people caring for someone sick outside the countryetc. I wondered if anyone had ever dealt with this issue from a student perspective. I know the easiest way to get the correct answer would be to go to immigration which I will check later if it turns out to be an issue. Thanks for any help. Hi Yes we went through this for my brother. He was allowed to enter the country even after 6 months as long as he provided some kind of proof that he was indeed a student. You can call up the immigration office as well to confirm if they still allow this. :)

Try Al Ain center in Bur Dubai! I've heard they charge about 100 Dhs for screen repair or replacement. And once you've replaced it, add a tempered glass screen protector which costs about 30 Dhs but will protect your phone if it falls again and is cheaper to replace than a cracked screen! All the best!
